Hello, I downloaded some great fonts, which I hoped to apply on my site– while I have noticed the site from by myself computer, it offers looked fine. Then again, when I looked at the page by my college desktops, the font changed towards the default browser font. I’m guessing this is certainly something related to uploading the info for any font or something such as that, but my personal computer knwoledge is usually limited. Any aid in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Technical info: Now i am using: Terrapin FTP Browser NTL 55MG Webspace Frontpage XP along with the specific font involved is " AirCut" coming from 1001 free fonts Good luck, Bill. Hello guys, Iam a newbie due to this forum and net designing. I have problem on steps to start building website mainly using HTML, PHP plus MySQL(database driven. We’ve experience on hardware and os’s. My director asked me to style the website intended for our research instituton, but I don’t know how to start. Need help with buying laptop for Web Design ..

Howdy, I am just about concluded school for Graphics and Web development, and I am visiting buy a laptop that we will only be using for this. I need any laptop because I can be taking it on your way so I can constantly develop websites, but I am not sure which onto buy. I am looking at HEWLETT PACKARD since I hear there’re very good, and I would only like to invest aroung $500. Like I stated this computer shall be used strictly for web page design and no messing all-around online or with everthing else. I have also been working with personal computers for about 20yrs so Concerning learned quit a little before I ever previously started school. Website for Thesis: What should I learn? How do I get started?

Im a 5th season Engineer-Architecture student for the University of Leuven with Belgium. For my thesis I’d prefer to devellop a myspace or facebook that applies a visual form of version control for you to collaborative, open form design. Though We’ve the concept worked out, I’m completely brand new to webdesign. I have only a year to be effective and test this kind of, so I don’t need to waste to much time finding out what skills We need to reach my personal goal. Can everyone advise me just what exactly programs, scripting languages and existing fabrications (wordpress, etc.. ) I could truthfully use to help to make this A evidence of of concept photograph and description can be added below. Is Flash a good way to build a website?

Greetings there, We are using html and css with dreamweaver to create websites. In order for making some movements, I need to make use of flash since I dont have learned to do with javascript. Even so, is flash a sensible way to make a website I understand it will make a heavy loading. Is a ‘Different’ design concept better ???

This might be too general a question to anticipate an answer via but here goes.. I am in the deal of getting quotes from companies to get a 4 page website which includes. ne at top and sql at the back. The site shall be used by health-related staff who admit they aren’t computer experts! The three designs that have come back are usually all nice but one of these uses ExtJS desktop which can be radically different. ( notice dev. sencha. com/deploy/ext-4. 0. 0/examples/desktop/desktop. html page ) We have shown it by some friends and several say thats great cos its different, others have said why have a very website that appears like a desktop What do people think I love the simplicity connected with say apple. com but just undecided about the desktop What a concept that will lead to confusion IMHO. I’ve seen a niche site here and there that has been built like that, but I wouldn’t undertake it myself.
