MY PARTNER AND I currently make web pages in notepad together with HTML but I know many make their sites in dreamweaver or other website development programs. Whats the most effective way to make a site With a system or plain HTML CODE in notepad Thanks for just about any replys. Combining design and text

Hi I am just only new these, so forgive me personally if something I’ve ask is answered some period ago. I have been learning website in addition to design for within the past year. site size

Another newb question, I am building my internet site, again on dreamweaver, and I am using photoshop to produce gifs for this nav bar/graphics/etc. We have just completed the nav bar, and already i am at 23 e for site size. What is a suitable site size these days Is there any gif compression to be used Maximum size for all those files together that make up a page shouldn’t ideally be more than 60KB, and definately only 100KB. You can use GIF compression I think, but the best thing to do is to assure your graphics are reused throughout your web blog. If you’re reusing the nav through the site, I believe 23K is ok, but you would be wise to try to compress graphics whenever you can without loosing excessive quality. Definitely, Many thanks guys, big help. Something must are actually hiding in this file, because I cleansed it up plus the nav bar appeared to be only 4 k in the end. My main page is still gonna be all around 60k; I have a variety of rollover images in a large graphic club. Some help with frames.

I am just using Dreamweaver to generate my site and Relating to 2 frames. One the best and one around the bottom. I’ve never employed frames before and I’m uncertain what I’m accomplishing. For starters I’m not even sure how in order to load my site backup in dreamweaver together with all frames intact. I can only load one at any given time, then have to add the frames, then load each page into your proper frame. Table Gap at top and bottom of page

Hi How can i eradicate the small gap inbetween a table along with the top and bottom of the page in dreamweaver when i cant move my own table up to reduce it or resize the actual table, this is actually anyoing cos i want my banner get started on right at the top end of the article.
