Dial Up Program
Anybody know of an program that can mimic a dial upward connection for testing downloading webpages on my computer many thanks NetMechanic is a great tool for obtaining page and track sizes. It wouldn’t mimic the download, it basically breaks down the files the particular page requires and present you with a report at it. A hip tool, nonetheless. Rephrased: a plan that caps your computer’s bandwidth (temporarily, obviously) Do not forget that most WYSIGWYG editors include slightly estimated load time in the status bar. Also you can download the site using IE’s Conserve As, get the properties of the. htm and folder this creates, and then divide that size (in KB) by means of 6 (about the transfer speed with 56k). so thanks Would that add size of any images utilized in it’s file sizing though I generally thought it only exercised the size regarding just the html page itself. certainly, images too. grooovy.

databases and forms for magazine site
i have some basic web page design knowledge, but i dont learn how to design a site with input forms. the form(s) will never be viewable by customers, only the magazine’s editors. i want make use of a password-protected form page therefore the editors can easily cut and paste, the title, author, story, pictures in addition to cutlines, then hit send and it also creates a nice page for everyone to see. one form per section of your magazine. thus, everything are going to be uniform, all your font sizes as well as palcements, and the writers can’t screw up coursesmart. i must also then archive the particular old information and still have a good lookup function, but i am not familiar w/ sources. when i helped someone style and design a newpapers site that followed the following format, but post only handled the graphics. he used active server web page, is asp the best ways to do this if anyone knows of tutorials to get this done or if any has any themes… it would possibly be greatly appreciated.

Anything that appears to be corporate is disgusting in my opinion. However, the best thing that you can do is to get a half-decent online WYSIWYG publisher. This is usually less expensive than the particular " CMS" computer … Continue reading

The idea won’t just like magic lose quality when transferred via a new binary FTP deal. How did everyone upload the snapshot I try a FTP.. I never had this problem before.. Could it often be because I produced the pic having a web graphic software View the (what I am just assuming is the) JPEG file on your hard disk before uploading this. Does it appearance right Yea it looks great.. I’m guessing you will be resizing the photo on your own web page utilizing HTML… to your different size compared to original.
