What should I do for my site?

Well I’d like to create a site to showcase stuff that we have designed pertaining to in school and just side projects which i have done. Now I am aware what the content might be but I was having trouble settling using a theme or array for my internet site. I want some thing different and creative but at the same time I want it to take a look professional. I guess We are just looking for inspiration. Flash Navigation

I will be thinking about settling simple but trendy flash navigation upon my site. With some effort i can probably recreate this in javascript. I was thinking how flash navigation stands of course , if it is certainly something to stay away from in webdesign. Please Help – Flash/Dreamweaver linking issue.

The navigation is within flash and every one of the pages are throughout dreamweaver. I am having major issues leading the flash buttons for the dreamweaver pages. I became told to utilize _urls. text file drop it within the ftp where the others of my html files are and yes it would magically perform.
