Can you make a good site with a WYSIWYG editor?

Howdy there, I’m focusing on a website strategy, but don’t genuinely have any knowledge involving languages. My current website was designed by just a friend, but I am getting frustrated with requiring you to wait until it is really convenient for him to perform any updates or even adding content. I used to be thinking of undertaking my new strategy myself, but I don’t know if I contain the time to find out PHP or HTML in depth. Can anyone suggest a good WYSIWYG editor that may let me design a reliable looking website not having much knowledge MY SPOUSE AND I don’t mind having to learn some stuff, just expecting the learning curve to be a bit high for any advanced stuff. I’ve used frontpage in the past and have found that almost all websites look amateurish, plus I’ve heard who’s writes terrible messy HTML that may hurt your se placings. Client wants to edit site

Hello, I have been recently creating some simple HTML sites intended for clients. Sofar, my sites find a way to work well in addition to clients are delighted. I now employ a client who wants kid upload changes to help specific pages. Most of these changes will include new photos in addition to textual info. We’ve looked at Adobe’s Contribute and it seems to work effectively. However, this requires setting up the software about the clients PC. Perhaps there is a solution out there that will permit, via administrator logon, a client in order to edit their website I realise of which PHP coding enables this, but as stated My organization is only begining as well as don’t want a big learning curve for this 1 site. Using Divs to align my webpage

Ok im pretty good at webdesign, but i use tables to support all my pattern together and position things, as im told through the people here thats not ideal. when i test using divs i acquired no idea easy methods to align my written content in divs and also use multipul divs to keep certain stuff, i cant notify text to line up 300 pixels from the the side with my design i could tell my divs how big for being where to sit on the page what sort of hell does that make my design better if i dont use tables please tell me how to do this(basic explanation) because i have no clue how to employ divs since my personal teacher never tought you divs The solution to this will be one word: CSS. Learning the basics

I’ve been using Photoshop CS2 and Dreamweaver 8 for about… properly… 1 day. Ive been doing tutorials right through the day. I think i obtained a basic (very basic) idea of each. Ive been reading through this forum and yes it seems nobody likes dreamweavers " design" feature. For me, I dont understand anything about coding and many of the tutorials i happen to be doing show using the design. Is there grounds for this Furthermore, Im trying to learn Photoshop to design an internet page for my dad’s business. I learned from tutorials generate buttons and rollovers. For making a site implementing photoshop and dreamweaver, don’t you just design your webpage in photoshop as you would see it from the browser leaving spaces for buttons along with text, and after that just copy that into dreamweaver Any help could be appreciated. Could someone show me such as a template they will made in photoshop for any website so we can get a greater understanding. Best software for a newbie to use?
