Colour scheme for new site

I’m back building a new site, and get the layout planned and created. Nevertheless, my main problem (and the thing I’m not way too good with) will be the colour scheme. I’m trying your fixed width and also centred layout this occassion round. You could possibly notice the left border being a bit thicker inside Firefox too. For whatever reason, the vertical line around the background image didn’t appear in IE7 (must be obscured through the other divs), nevertheless worked fine along with FF. So I put in a left border for peace of mind. Problems w/styles

My organization is using Dreamweaver 8 to style my site. We’ve 2 cells from a table with text in both of them. I applied a style towards the first cell. Next time i highlight the contents of the 2nd cell and make an effort to apply a specific style to prospects contents, the contents automatically change towards the syle that is placed on the FIRST personal. Can anyone tell me what My organization is doing wrong (I feel pretty new to the, inc. CSS) You have to give us a link aimed at your web so we can easily see it in activity. Is there a way for a straight bracket ?

Okay, I am unsure of the this icon is termed " " but it looks like a new half square group or something. Can there be any way We can put a paragrah among big ones of those Like a bordered table but instead of it all staying bordered, only the sides. If I design a graphic in that case obviously the word can’t fit snuggly inside bracket corner edges since the invisible part in the graphic is generally there. I know this may not be making much good sense. So simple speaking, a bordered table that is definitely only half bordered, considering the middle lines currently being invisible.
