1024×768 and 800×600 question

WE made my initial site… just starting to read this stuff! The deal is while i view it applying 1024×768 it seems to be great…. but merely switch to 800×600 it has the terrible! Everything is huge and you must scroll forever to check out things. I used fireworks to try and do the graphics and dreamweaver that will put it together…… anything I could do to ensure it is look good in both resolutions Furthermore… if I’m designing my site applying fireworks then slicing it as long as export to dreamweaver… just what exactly good canvas size align it to formerly Thanks for every help or source! Design it to ensure the site is not bigger than related to 769 pixels, to ensure it fits in every resolutions, or nonetheless, you could create a ‘liquid’ design. Most likely your site is too vast and thats the condition. You’ll need to produce it narrower. Another angle taking when designing sites would be to make them 100% thicker, but that can get confusing sometimes. Everyone. … Continue reading

Image Slice/CSS question

I’m curious to find out, if I create my web base, slice it up, and slap the idea into CSS, will I be able to make certain pages longer based on content Or will i be stuck along with my image width The image is 760 a 600 pixels. Do I need to make it longer in comparison with 600 Just requiring before I create the footer. I might appreciate any tips. Thanks a lot, Ceara Hi there! No issue. No questions tend to be too easy. You must slice the photograph up, so who’s consists of minimum amount 5 images. You footer, header then one left edge, one content and something right border. The content part may perhaps be only one coloring, so you have to focus on the borders. They need to be ablse to stretch vertically devoid of distortion. Then all you’ve got to write can be background-repeat: repeat-y; and yes it continues until the particular box ends. In your content section it is possible to likely take the 5 or hence pixel high slice of the whole width… By doing this the filesize is actually smaller.. and repeat-y … Continue reading

Is there a way for a straight bracket ?

Okay, I am unsure of the this icon is termed " " but it looks like a new half square group or something. Can there be any way We can put a paragrah among big ones of those Like a bordered table but instead of it all staying bordered, only the sides. If I design a graphic in that case obviously the word can’t fit snuggly inside bracket corner edges since the invisible part in the graphic is generally there. I know this may not be making much good sense. So simple speaking, a bordered table that is definitely only half bordered, considering the middle lines currently being invisible. Thanks for virtually any info!! (as you are able to tell I ‘m a novice from web editing) Hell of your question for a new newcomer, though. WHEN I haven’t ever tried this. So I haven’t so much got a clue if it will work. But it’s likely the only resolution you’ll get because the nature of the particular question. I don’t think you possibly can pull off what you need with strictly borders so ,, but you might manage to with a mix off faux backgrounds along with borders. In … Continue reading
