How to host live chat?

I’m working with a website for some sort of community. I’d like to host now and then a special occasion chat, where we’d have a very special guest that we’d interview. Certainly, we don’t need everybody to talk simultaneously, therefore have a plan to mute everybody except the selected interviewers as well as the special guest. Any clues about how I could have this sort of chat on my own site I’ve searched and discover many chat plans for websites, but none of these had this choice to mute a clear group of users. I pondered doing it irc next, but have not just a clue how for you to program the irc towards my site, so visitors would not have to worry about the complicated functions. Any insight, suggestion or help shall be greatly appreciated. /felipao.

Seeking "Manhattanesque" site design

G’day, I’m seeking web-sites — any sites at all that come to mind — that might serve being an inspiration for my own ring company site(s), the planning for which I’m outsourcing. I’m searching for something professional, management and business, " Manhattanesque" — realistic in design, helpful in structure, not having superfluous, unnecessary elements of any kind, a cognitive oasis, should you would, and created while using fullest regard for the reason for these site(s) — its form following it is function. The kind of site Howard Roark (points once you learn the reference! ) would love to visit. My firm is going to be offering web expert services, including: hosting; style; domain registration; support (via live chat plus a ticket system) for sure web-based applications; etc. The theme I’m seeking might inform the eventual design off sites of our company, from the central to the smallest subdivision. The input is liked. Thanks! Lyceum (John).

Anybody ever install a live chat for your client I see you will discover services out there but I had been wondering if I will do it personally, although it appearance pretty daunting. Can anybody recommend a service I’ve tried to create my own, in addition to tried existing screenplays, but ran in to the same difficulties… dropped chats, things not dealing with a Mac, in addition to bandwidth difficulties. The interfaces and also audible notifications had been hit and neglect. So I tried this one… it’s a service you can try for free for 15 times without restrictions, and I seriously liked it. I used to be testing it for another client… http: //www. chat4support. com/Screenshots. asp Whoever (any availablility of people) are this admin, downloads a plan on its PC… that’s the admin panel which has a toolbar icon, beeps, noises, pop-ups, whatever you configure. All I’ll say is, just try it for nothing and see how i like it. I shouldn’t be advertising like this, but hopefully others will pipe-in with their experiences. Pictures moving & which flash prgram?

Hi there, I’m a novice/self trained website administrator to get 2 websites. I have set these up applying templates and loads of help from the live chat with the host. I’d like to ask two or three quick questions please. First of all, I have noticed that some pictures I apply to webpages seem to transfer about and aren’t in the similar place on some other peoples computers whenever displayed. I choose for you to position the pictures on the right or left with the text but they are not in a good position so I change them that will, above text. By doing this I can lug the pictures to where I want all of them. But as mentioned, they seem to move and appear within different positions while displayed on alternative pc’s. Am i setting up a simple mistake Possibly there is a simple means to fix this Furthermore, I have developed simple flash video (swf files) which i display on the websites. Is there a new best format to use so they will run accurately on most/all pc’s and how could i get the add code for swf information. Apologies if WE should open a few thread … Continue reading
