Another newb question, I am building my internet site, again on dreamweaver, and I am using photoshop to produce gifs for this nav bar/graphics/etc. We have just completed the nav bar, and already i am at 23 e for site size. What is a suitable site size these days Is there any gif compression to be used Maximum size for all those files together that make up a page shouldn’t ideally be more than 60KB, and definately only 100KB. You can use GIF compression I think, but the best thing to do is to assure your graphics are reused throughout your web blog. If you’re reusing the nav through the site, I believe 23K is ok, but you would be wise to try to compress graphics whenever you can without loosing excessive quality. Definitely, Many thanks guys, big help. Something must are actually hiding in this file, because I cleansed it up plus the nav bar appeared to be only 4 k in the end. Scrolling text in a table

Hi we have a page using a table within some sort of table. Everytime i placed my text in to the table it causes it to be bigger, i dont want this i want the table to settle the same size and then for my text to become scrollable. Can anyone help me make it happen im having wonderful difficulty. I can acquire my text to scroll next time i use layers although if buggers in place my page as well as i prefer to work with tables. WHEN I looked around for those sites, like with www. guistuff. com which set it up some good tips… but I still think I want more. I’ve gotten well in to the graphics side of the design of the site, but after searching, I’m thinking maybe I want something different. Will there be a webpage this basically has back links to very well-designed web sites, that can be used as inspiration I understand of the " how’s my site" forum below, but not each of them is the greatest websites. We are currently planning to start a new web page that is for just a villa in spain and that is soon going that they are rented out intended for holiday makers. Relating to been working with a site for a new local band. The site design i think is absolute rubbish as long as I am involved but they adore it and wont even evaluate anything else. I need a "unique" database system

So… I am after something pretty specific, so I will do my ideal to explain the idea. I am after a databases system, available to be able to users of my personal website. I have to have a list of places with a page, then and therefore click one these, and for it and therefore bring up some sort of page with much more info about that spot.
