Prices to charge

Concerning had many ages designing websites for myself, friends friends and family and my business but have under no circumstances done it specialist. I have looked throughout the internet to try to look for some standard charges but they vary much. Can anyone convey to me what they’d normally charge to get a site that they will: -Design the actual layout -Create just about all graphics (including logo design creation) -domain name -hosting using a remote server -company electronic mail address -Guestbook -Bullitan board/forum -Install website stats tracking program I am in the beginning stages to try to do this professionally. I have many of the experience I will need technically (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Flash), just none with the administrative and reserve keeping skills. Mentally designing a website

You’ll find so many articles about how you make your own design using tools but i notice nothing anywhere about how precisely you actually think of the design the self. Does anyone know of your article which discusses several types of site design and also the mental process within designing a web page. I am more specifically serious about going about designing modern, " cool" shopping sites as the clients wants a new clan site. How long should this take?

Howdy everyone, New poster which has a question. I’m on my way out the door, so forgive us if this continues to be answered elsewhere, and kindly point me in the right direction: I just took on your freelance contract, but I’m pretty new towards business aspect with it, tracking working hours, etc… I have a few mockups I’m going to propose later right now, and I want to know what to quotation my client when it comes to hours. How long does a normal website take to construct We’re talking 5-7 major pages, with one or two sub-pages in some categories. CSS heavy, and the mockups range from almost zero illustrator work to substantial amounts. Can a person guys give my family the ballpark prices you use Many thanks! Such the vague question. Depends upon your abilities and just what exactly the client demands. I spend about One hour making up a nice, detailed quote, so answering your question depends upon many variables. CSS3 : should we not be worried bout ie6 anymore?

Hey people of website development… I just learn: http: //24ways. org/2009/make-your-mockup-in-markup what don’t you guys think ought to we abandon css2, photoshop and the idea of ie6 not copy css3 The article is absolutely great… and Id love to learn css3… but the idea of not using illustrator for my mockups usually are bit daunting and also call me obsessive compulsive but I merely cant leave those old skul people of ie6 at the rear of….. The author may be a really great web designer… even my advisor says shes much better than him… oh well hope to find out what are your own thoughts bout this kind of… This is a good evolution in progression and we are during it. We don’t want to reduce the old stuff because some people still use this. We don’t prefer to use the brand new stuff because a lot of people don’t have the item yet! IE6 has one foot inside grave and other foot on a new banana peel. The only real way to complete it off is usually when designers stop designing for it.
