Help on Art Community Website – User Customizeable Artist Pages

Hi there, i’m not exactly sure where to put this, so Unwell give it some sort of shot here. I’ve been asked to assistance develop an fine art community website, and within the laundry list of things they really want, i can can everything they’ve requested, but I am a lttle bit stuck on their request to let artists to be able to edit their unique pages, similar to how people have the ability to redesign their myspace and facebook or livejournal websites. the point being therefore , the artists could work with their pages while their websites. obviously i might make a basic template for many artists, but i guess i’m rather stuck on how exactly i can accomplish this. i can imagine a good number of ways using php along with mysql, but as i’ve never discovered this before, we wonder if perhaps there’s a better way, or in the event that anyone here appreciates how myspace or maybe livejournal allow that. i know loads of css editing and planning could well be involved, but sure, i just hope someone may help me out as well as point me inside the right direction. My business is working on developing a profile site much like myspace where individuals can register to get a profile, close friends, comments, blogs, and so on. And am currently working away at theming it. I have two themes now: reddark and grassgreen but these are just very primary ones. I became thinking about just what exactly website that is just not out, but people want. I thought about it for quite a while, and after visiting a lot of forums, and it came in my opinion. I thought what happens if a website could pull a lot of the forums that you simply visit alot, then put all this on one web page. I know I dont contain the skills to do this, but it something which i could work send to. This is how I believe that it is possible. in order to read the forums, the website would read a lot of rss reads out of it to write for the forums (posting topics and replies) it could send a lot of scripts that will log you around, go on this posting page with the topic you wish to post in, subsequently submit. I think that this can be a untouched part from the web which could please take a huge adventage. I am completely lost. I have no clue how this works. Hi there! I came here trying to find some help and also or advice because my html is definitely limited to quite basic stuff like img, fonts and imagine myspace and thats around the jist of my own coding abilities. LOL Well the real forte is fashion and I am looking for ways to my website exploring better. Right now My organization is using a css we got from one of many css sites. I figured out easy methods to edit in dreamweaver it took me ALWAYS and I only came across one page for the reason that I cant for any life of me learn how to get the succeeding pages to hyperlink. I have got a little web style / graphic design company i always run through the myspace account then when I get a fresh customer I normally have them make your deposit of half on the total payment previous to I begin work towards the project, and the other half before I upload your website to their machine. I got this specific idea from additional designers doing identical thing on myspace after finishing work rather than receiving payment, and this is how I’ve done business covering the past year, which has worked fine usually, but I feel that the intent to make that initial downpayment might scare folks away, and I doubt that it is a common way to do business when doing web page design. I be employed by a school area and my department have been throwing around the idea of putting a website up where kids can log on and attend activities/sign up regarding contest and programs we’ve got going on/and possess discussions about issues happening locally or worldwide. How I see that, the site could be set up a lttle bit like myspace and also fubar without all of the fancy stuff.
