I’m gonna have a summary of company-related news stories in a sidebar on any page and I need a great way to add a story and get all the web sites dynamically updated when using the new story in addition to the stack. I am working with PHP a little, so I can easily visualize a way it could be done through PHP, but then there’s also the chance of using REALLY SIMPLY SYNDICATION feeds… Any positives and negatives or alternatives RSS is made for getting stuff through other sites, not your own. Hi, I’m afraid I am relatively new to web design so don’t learn how to code (nor wish to as I ‘m creating the content and there’s no time to accomplish both! ). I have a few sites set upwards with Dreamweaver as well as hosted on GoDaddy (using their Windows server option). On both sites I require a news as well as comment section to i always can regularly create news items as well as articles written by myself as well as other contributors. It obviously must be fairly elastic and still have an archive for the items that grow older. Hello everyone, I am down the middle of re-designing my business’ website. I have some website development experience but have been out from the web design scene for some time now. The basic layout for the site is full, and now I am trying to figure out how to find the content on there that i want. What You want is an Personnel Profiles page. I don’t need to write the profiles into the HTML of the page since that may not be very easily editable. I’m hoping there is some way I can set this ” up ” so that in the future, adding and removing employees through the page can be quite easy, perhaps similar to setting up a blog entry I’ve looked into wordpress slightly and am owning a test installation today, but am confused if it’s competent to achieve the simplicity I’m searching for.
