Adding a third level to a TOC

I’m implementing the redesign of your information portal, along with the client wants me to provide a third level to a two-level TOC on the left panel on the Web page. I can’t find any types of this on line — and think it’d look ridiculous — thus my first thought is always to put the next level on other screen, like this particular: http: //www. dartmouth. edu/teaching/ (click upon Undergraduate Research for the left and the remaining portion of the screen changes). Can anyone suggest other means of doing a 3 level TOC Bless you.

I realize HTML, CSS, a few PHP, and a number of Javascript. I can code an internet site .. I even learn my way all over Gimp 2 quite well. I tough to create attractive, visually stunning internet sites like I see other members develop.
