Need someone elses opinion…

Heya guys, I’m building a website helpful to collect together a variety of webcomics, heavily using the jquery javascript libraries (which were great fun to understand and use ). In any case, I’m trying to design the front page men and women see before logging throughout, and it seems if you ask me that something just simply isn’t right, but I’m not sure exactly what. Any kind of recommendations Kind regards. http: //www. comikfix. com Seems to be fine on FireFox, not good with IE (go figure). I think it’s the margins you’re setting together with your " main. css". On internet land around here (is my own guess)… . boxBody div. variety ul margin: 0 10px 0 25px; padding: 0; width: car; list-style-image: url(images/arrow. gif) *html. boxBody div. variety ul margin-left: 10px; padding-left: 15px; You may have to use both equally browsers (FF and IE) to learn around and see the location where the problem is. This PNG background (transparency) problem is something together with IE. You can certainly use Google to find the fix for: IE PNG transparency issue.

Change image on hover with an imagemap

Therefore, I’ve got just like a road sign who has several signs which work to be buttons for you to pages. Those are some type of polygons with a number of sides. I’d like them to change appearance on hover. What would be the best ways to implement this They are not rectangular or flat straight. Can you give us a url to the actual URL so we could see the image you’ve got mapped My thought is that you need to use Flash rather than HTML mapping. But I need it first. I don’t possess the image with me at the moment, but it’s one of these street signs that will I’m using. http: //www. sharnoffphotos. com/human_world/human_patterns/hpt_img/nyc_street_signswtmk. jpg Mine has those signs pointing with a bit different directions women and men idea is the very same. And the point is the fact I don’t wish to use flash to develop up this web page. So I is able to use xhtml, css, probably javascript too needless to say. And do you bit stupid to change the complete big image with rollover, at least considering the first load. Here’s an interesting idea…. http: //www. tankedup-imaging. com/css_dev/rollover. html If fails with … Continue reading

My Contact Form is all jacked up in IE… help!

I’m IE-debugging my website at this time, and I’ve find a couple glaring difficulties with my contact web site and I really don’t even know where to begin with. The text is aligned on the top of the inputs instead of centered and the particular scroll bar is visible if or not it’s needed, however most glaringly, the PNG transparency about the submit button just isn’t working correctly. That one boggles my imagination, as I’m making use of transparent PNGs throughout the site and this can be a only one that’s having any problems rendering. Your page is right here: http: //mcgee-designs. com/contact. html (Compare to Firefox or Chrome to find out how I’d like it looking. ) Here i will discuss the relevant markup in addition to CSS, to save digging through your source: HTML: < kind id=" contact-form" method=" POST" action=" send. php" > < ul> < li> < source type=" text" class=" one-line" name=" name" value=" Name" /> < /li> < li> < source type=" text" class=" one-line" name=" email" value=" Email address" /> < /li> < li> < source type=" text" class=" one-line" name=" phone" value=" Mobile phone number" /> < /li> < li> < source … Continue reading
