hello there, Remember to critique my possible next update to help my site — Aesthetic Design Website Development – please bare with me in terms of the loading page, it’s just there since the page relies so heavily on images and i still ought to style it. Code-wise the website is valid xhtml in addition to valid css and in terms of i can inform works fine in FF and IE7 in windows, if you could have any problems with other browsers you need to tell me. Currently I have the homepage, so i’m seeking a critique belonging to the design, rather as opposed to navigational structure, also i’ve definitely not got round to help making rollovers for that navigation yet. Why is web design a hobby of yours?

Need to do a papers on my hobby that’s web design! If any of you could post and tell me why you enjoy this hobby a whole lot I would really thanks. Thank you before hand! Some days I love, some days WHEN I hate it… varies according to the mood as well as circumstances. Truth is I depend on it to fork out the bills, so should the pressure is on after which you can there’s some issue niggling which i can’t get to the bottom of I’m cursing and swearing… alternatively should the pressure is away, and I may play with several nifty Ajax script or similar it’s great fun… there may be satisfaction in producing something that seems and feels great… As well, if a customer insists on the really ugly design that is really demotivating… if you are playing you may establish the most superb designs and feel really like to show off them, but when there exists a paying customer whenever they say they desire green writing on a red background what are you able to do! Creating a dynamic image?

What I’d like to do is definitely w/ some snazzy value (php / javascript / CSS / mysql), is always to create a background for the forum avatar. Now because avatars will come in different sizing’s, the background should expand to the larger ones. I know sometimes it is done w/ a few CSS, but Now i’m no expert From the example below (click the actual pic, it’ll mature, easier to see), consider the blue square for the red background (the left half) as a static image, while using right half as being a full red background, with the avatar above it (CSS magic! ). At this point, in the very first one, the avatar is from the standard parameters (say 1×1 to 50×50 pixels within size), so some computer code w/ a 54×54 pixel red-colored square image would work with some CSS placing to center your avatar’s upper eventually left corner to A FEW, 3 on that background image would work properly. Note that it is assuming with any 50×50 avatar, it’ll give you a 2 pixel border about the avatar, hence the particular 3, 3 placement ANYWAY, here we reach the real problem.
