How do I remove the "continue reading" link on my blog?

I’d like to either remove the keep reading link in my personal posts, or help it become so that your link appears after more text can be written, because it is really inserting the url after only regarding 5 sentences, which often makes the cosmetic of my web-site look bad. Virtually any suggestions The positioning is www. TheDishmaster. com The issue is merely on the webpage because once you click an article there’s no continue reading website link anymore. Inside your file called design. css ( during about line 264), increase the part within red below. That will make the website invisible. . post-entry course. more-link screen: block; border: 10px 0; presence: hidden; This is a WordPress issue… inside your admin panel, there is a setting with regard to displaying all of a post, or partial post. Look beneath " Settings", then click on " Reading"… For each article in a new feed, show (o) full text (o) summary Choose " full text" the airwaves button. . That doesn’t help me. How are you designing??

We are greatly familiar considering the 960 grid method. I have even seen the 976 grid system we might start changing too. BUT i was wondering considering the better resolution monitors and that min these times is 1280 x 1024 do you guys design for higher resolutions I love going with this wider monitors. Sometimes fluid, or WE stay around THOUSANDS OF. I do believe it’s just an individual preference. You need to also duplicate on least portion of your site with regard to small scale rendering… mobile devices. Interesting how we previously worked so hard to upgrade from 15in monitors to be able to 20in monitors… but now we’re going to tiny mobile products. I do believe it’s a plot through the younger people who definitely have good eyes… and keep us older individuals from using them. Without reading a pair of glasses, the ipod itouch is pretty much useless in my opinion. The iPod Nano… just ignore it. . lol, thats why we’d design for the device. Sorry my old friend, us adolescents are taking about I was using 960gs for a long time, but I not too long ago dropped the construction thing altogether. Now I simply … Continue reading

Help with Browser Compatibility!!

Good day, MY SPOUSE AND I designed and made a theme with regard to my WordPress website/blog applying Dreamweaver. Since I uploaded the positioning to the dwell server yesterday, I’ve noticed several browser compatibility issues created and have no clue how to correct them. I’ve changed a number of the CSS code around hoping to solve the problem that way, but nothing seems to be effective. The best site until now is Firefox; I’ve truly noticed little in order to no glitches. Internet explorer, however, is a different story. It appears that whenever WE zoom the page above 100%, my right sidebar moves to the left forcing the primary content div to go down. Another problem We have noticed on a few other browsers is that a number of the text in this content div moves slightly on the left underneath my own left sidebar, suitable where that sidebar div label ends. I have no idea why this is actually happening and would love some input on easy methods to fix this. Let me know if you’re more dedicated posting the CSS right here would help, though it’s from the site’s source signal. Any assistance will be HUGELY appreciated!! The … Continue reading

What’s going on?

Hello there there, this is actually my first publish here… Nevertheless, I just made a website and I delivered electronically its layout coming from another site. I edited the HTML as well as CSS and WHEN I also used this PHP include() job. I had a few problems, but WE solved them. Nevertheless… see my linked image Yeah, ours. This is the site. See that unusual black thing under the banner It’s not said to be there. I’ve checked virtually all the site’s files and nothing is going wrong. ; however ,, what’s going upon there I didn’t post this inside a specific help forum(HTML support, PHP help) because I don’t know what causes this. Sorry if here is the wrong forum. It is best to post it around website review segment, because we cannot see the code on the image. It is actually a number of stuff: border, padding, suspended it wrong or anything else. Plainly had to reckon though, I’d say the insufficient thingy above anyone vertical navigation can be pushing it straight down. I favor your site while! Give us a real link to your real site, so you can easlily see it yourself. . http: //zeldalevel. … Continue reading

Question to the web designers/developers (out of curiosity)

Did going through college If you have, which major(s) Traveled to university for a term including a half. Majored throughout math/accounting. Left because I became bored and because I learned that 70% with my tuition money didn’t check out my education. I was spending money on things say for example campus bar which constantly ran at a negative balance and a student hall Pondered never heard associated with. I asked with regard to refunds on those tips since I acquired never used these, or to be provided the option to pay more for them, and had been told no. I asked to consider the course at home to save some cash and was fundamentally told in a lot of words that this idea was completely ridiculous which no one will ever accept mastering online. There’s nothing wrong with planning to a post-secondary education if you’re able to actually learn some thing. It’s a different story when you are there to purchase a degree. Yeah I became thinking of going to a technical university. I’ve heard towards the more hands-on approaches and less theory-based whatnots. Could they be underrated I do think it really is determined by what they coach you … Continue reading

Freelancing, Hiring, & Taxes

When planning a freelance webdesign organization, I was wondering how we handle taxes In the event you help out a number of people with web sites would you like to get a business license And when you hire web developers on a case-by-case schedule, are they theoretically employees Just curious how those of you running freelance web design businesses handle these things. The short, concise answer: " this depends". This will depend on how a person hire web developers/designers. They could be contractors or precise employees. I prefer the first kind myself, but to each their unique. This will depend on the tax laws as part of your state or province. In my specific case, I should register for a good HST (Harmonized Revenue Tax) number and charge and remit the ridiculous 13% tax to any Canadian customers, although I " obtain it back because with my expenses" (most of which are HST-exempt anyway). This will depend on how people register yourself (either for a contractor under your own name or like a business name). A business name requires a company license. I had just one for five years after which it gave it up because I had been my … Continue reading

Where to find cheapest .co.uk and .com domain prices?

Greetings all I host and buy domains for clients websites considerably. I have web hosting service provider sorted, this is certainly reliable and good, but the price of domains from this hosting provider is higher than it could be -. com during 9/year,. co. united kingdom at 9/2 years So We were thinking to get domains from in other places, and point nameservers worth mentioning to my web hosting service. MY SPOUSE AND I wondered if any one could tell me any resources and also from experience, any company We can buy. com as well as. co. uk domain names from for a cheaper price The power to change nameservers might need to be there and also reliable. Thank you! Emma From personal experience in such a sector. I realize ‘most’ of the actual companes providing the least expensive domain names have complications and restrictions attached. In the end, I just opt for the company that may provide the greatest overal package, handle panel and service. If not, I’ve used 123 more often than not and doubt you’ll find domains much less costly elsewhere. If you are doing find something superior, especially if acquiring in bulk. Be sure you come … Continue reading

Interesting issue I’m having…

So I’m focusing on this site: http: //internetplazas. com/fmhs I cannot seem to cut off which gray link bar at the top/middle that expands forever. I’d that it make to stop at the edges and so the site is you nice box. Any thoughts I got myself the template a while ago and didn’t allow it to become myself. Many thanks! Try giving it a predetermined width, such while 700px Also, tables are very outdated with regard to layout Thank you for the easy reply… what is the simplest way to set in which limit Also, if tables usually are outddatted, what do you suggest Many thanks again. OK – My own first advice to you will be to recode this with no tables. Failing that, what you’ll want to do is come across this line (about line#36) with your HTML: < td background=" images/menus_bkg. gif" align=" center" > Drop the graphic (you’ll put this back with CSS) along with add a class towards < td> tag – so: < td > Then within your CSS do this specific: . menubar background: url(images/images/menus_bkg. gif) repeat-x; /* this specific imports the image */ size: 775; /*this sets the width */ border: … Continue reading
