Selling Links on website

I have been previously toying with the idea of selling text hyperlinks on my web site. The idea usually someone pays one to link to their website for any set period (usually some sort of month). I’ve found quite a few websites where We can " auction" the links, so marketing the spaces shouldn’t be too much of the problem. Even so, I want to determine what the thoughts about this are in basic. On some sites, there are doomsday-type safety measures that Google can block () the actual pages’ PR status. Any comments about this is appreciated — specially since I never have seen anything about it on WDF. Kind regards! The whole concept of " selling" buttons is nothing brand new. It’s the just like any banner advertising or Google AdSense url or anything of this nature. I’m unclear what warnings you will be " seeing", but as your spider-based search engine it could be somewhat difficult for Google to penalize a web site for selling reported links unless it was done in a " link-farm-style" scenario where sites put up for sale their links at a links page and go following that. Mind you, the whole concept … Continue reading

Degree in Web Design

So I’m a sophomore majoring in Web site design at a collage (a brick and also mortar one, definitely not online). I’ve experienced some cynicism, on the other hand, from others about how useful such a qualification would actually always be. I will possibly be learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, C++, PHP, SQL and several more languages MY SPOUSE AND I can’t remember at this point, as well seeing that taking some art, business and journalism training. Don’t you guys think the a waste with money I’ll just tell this – I REALLY LIKE designing websites. I enjoy it completely because it allows me for being creative and concurrently useful in quite a few way. The artistic aspect on the major attracts me over anything (I’d in all probability be a artwork designer if this university offered it) On the other hand, I am thinking if its really worth the amount of money I’m gonna end up being paying back finally (so far We’ve racked up concerning $20, 000) I’d like to work with a company because I’d personally have job safety measures, though I feel not against outsourcing ( I’ve contemplated starting to generate templates and such for the … Continue reading

Guess who doesn’t even code for IE6 anymore?

http: //media. crossbrowsertesting. com/users/26446/screenshots/full/z258993b000a500d7903. png of course a website that is promoting IE9 won’t support IE6, MS would would rather have a wipe out switch for IE6, They stopped safety measures updates for IE6 2 months ago as well as I bet should they could get away about it, they would just stop supporting ( planning around it ) ‘s together…. but in the event you visit any health of their MSDN, download or any of their tech sites many people load multiple sytles according to the browser a person visit with. Most Servers in advance of Server2008 had IE6 set up and since they are servers, admins rarely set up IE7 or IE8 on them because of the only time the online world was normally accessed from their store ( if in any respect ), was to visit MS sites for you to download patches and also or server improvements.. Every time they were pushing IE8, they did a similar thing… trying to visually enforce the requirement to update your browser. . I think Many men and women ignore IE6, even IE7! Umm… REALLY That are they marketing for you to, then IE8, IE7, in addition to yes… even … Continue reading
