Jakob Nielsen killed TemplateMonster??!!??!!

I have just visited www. TemplateMonster. com. I was surprised to discover a totally new style and design there. Through the ICQ discussion with a number my friends: too patriotic (pro-American), quickly loading, impact about usability. As for me it appearance nice; more business enterprise and, get much about usability indeed; I’d an impression of which it’s Jakob Nielsen putted towards practice!!! On the other side it is… I need ideas of… More dull Dried out and too business Or it could be it’s just my own nostalgia about older TM (one of my favorite sites around the net). Will it be worth to drop on design for any sake of usability I need ideas of really… But anyway it’s worth investigating! Looks such as 1000 other business sites now. I don’t see the way it’s " American" wanting. That’s definitely certainly not USA blue, along with the USA is never the only RW& B country on this planet. Anyhow, I liked that old look. It was more unique also it gave an idea of how many templates you’d discover there. PS – POST don’t see how the tab style switch has increased usability. When I recall, the old layout … Continue reading

Legality of saving a social security number or transferring it unencrypted

SOME SORT OF client has requested a form that, among other sensitive fields, is known for a social security quantity. Obviously, security is important. Unfortunately, they want the effects of the submission e-mailed to them, Can it be legal to monitor the SSN inside plain text, and also unencrypted in every way To the sake of this thread, ignore the exact security problems by doing this. It’s obvious it’s actually a bad idea to be able to transmit it inside plain text or maybe save it to somewhat of a database (which need to be private) in basic text. I’m considering the legality of it. This is a nasty one, because I don’t believe email can ever previously be secure. As far as the website along with database, that might be encrypted and secure (HTTPS/SSL and also whatever it’s called). Therefore, the discussion these would only be to the email. You might do this pertaining to emails… Plastic card: For the account ending with: XXXX : XXXX – XXXX – 4563 SSN: For that account, ending in: XXX : XX – 4475 But aside from protecting the info, what’s the legality with saving or sending it Why would SSN often … Continue reading

In the western world width and elevation, same thing applies… that all varies according to the design you are attempting to acheive, but education sake… you will discover 2 kinds involving designs ( in all probability more, but because of this converstation )… static – in which you define the fixed width and everything to the page pretty much displays from the same location, whether you’re seeing it over a 17 in keep an eye on, or a TWENTY-FIVE inch wide screen. the drawbacks to that are obvious. if the design is set to your width of 1024, anyone running the resolution wider than that will see empty areas on each side from the design, the better the … Continue reading
