New Website Ideas, but need help :S
Hello there All, Ok, as you realize Im good by using CSS and HTML, the thing im currently useless from is JScript in addition to Jquery. Concerning found inspiration using this site http: //www. templatemonster. com/demo/34361. web coding template. And want to recreate something comparable for my internet site. Only issue is definitely I dont really discover how to go about being in a position to do what this template does. Does anyone possess any ideas I want the template style and design and layout as well as the way its hightech and DOESNT use expensive. So any help could well be most apt. Cheers Marc That uses absolute placing to peg this elements into spot. I. e., the top end left one is defined to right: 0 along with bottom: 0. And then, it uses an easy script to change the dimensions from 150px BACK BUTTON 150px to 251×251. I didn’t dig around to determine exactly how they will did it, however it probably looks somewhat this way in jQuery: $(‘li a’). hover(function() $(this). animate( peak: 251px, thicker: 251px ); ); Forgive me that the syntax is somewhat off, as Im still learning, but that’s the general idea. Why … Continue reading

Recommendations for finding/using website templates?
I’m about to check for a site template. I’m looking for one where the structure and layout is especially CSS. I’m willing to afford a good the one which I like. I might rather do that than build my own from scratch. After that I plan to be able to modify it wherever I’ll, but use it as being a starting point. Can anyone name me the right places to go that they recommend to uncover templates, and are available any problems i always may run directly into, or cautionary tales we should keep around mind Thanks in advance guys. I don’t know that you’ll get loads of help on any particular one. Your best bet is to hit up Yahoo. What are you seeking specifically How much do you think you’re willing to pay out http: //envato. com will be your best wager. They range out of 10-40$ for advanced templates, they present wordpress and regular html/css templates. They also offer scripts that you may add and customize into your themes. And logos in addition to video templates. So i might look there first. I don’t be employed by them but have got used them on a good basis. … Continue reading

.dhtml, flash or java?
Howdy everyone, I used to be thinking of setting up a poll of this specific, but would value better answers. I would just like the opinion of the floor as to, when the using either is possible, what the preference is made for. dhtml, flash, java or any option and exactly why, when designing a niche site. Many thanks, Dan Server-side language for example PHP (along together with MySQL). In addition to using JQuery and/or AJAX (combination regarding PHP and Javascripting). In addition to why Because you will find there’s ton of support for those of those, in addition to many examples in addition to pre-made scripts. All are with relative ease to learn very. Which is my two cents. . Many thanks mlseim, We have but scraped the particular surface with. php and am interested to learn more about AJAX having recently read about it. I don’t suppose you might direct me in direction of some useful resources to buy a beginner going I’d consider the DHTML issue, and go a single step further… jQuery. jQuery makes performing DHTML-related and AJAX-related stuff a great deal of easier by minimizing as much Javascript required (particularly in AJAX calls). Flash It … Continue reading

paypal?
so I’m still reasonably new to HTML and want to know how to add in pay pal or a way to pay with plastic cards. I can build a basic webpage as well as hand code the css but Now i am unsure of how I’d personally go about placing a check out cart and a strong email verification link and other features which are frequently seen on your store website. If anyone may possibly help me We’d appreciate it very much. If having it . a PHP professional, you can’t code your own personal e-commerce scripts, such as carts, check outs, etc. I suggest googling around for a lot of free e-commerce scripts, or use a CMS like WordPress and Joomla. It is possible to only put " purchase now" Pay companion button on a strong HTML page.. After you have a pay companion account, their support can explain how to accomplish this. Pay pal does all the verification and cost processing. One thing you need to know is which they don’t have a shipping piece incorporated within their stuff, so you’ll need to include shipping on the info sent to paypal usuallu when you use thier button. The … Continue reading

Web Form?
Howdy All, Throughout southern california Ian and I’m basically a newbie to web page design and development. I’m hoping someone may also help me with a specific request. I want to put a form in a article for business cards where potential prospects can type of their business details and the information entered is usually immediately viewed over a template on the same webpage (see linked image). What you see on the attached image is a result i need to achieve. Will there be a certain instrument or app or program i want to achieve this Many thanks in advance Ian What you wish to accomplish shall be really advanced. I suppose it could be done with Flash, or maybe with extensive PHP GD adjustment. There are pre-made scripts made in this way: http: //productsdesigner. com/online-card-designer-v21 It really is expensive though… because doing so is advanced, qualified software. By using PHP GD, it might be easy to put text over a graphic and manage size and position, but to create the GUI (graphical end user interace), and get drag-drop images, real-time switching of text, font improvements, colors… that’s the most big deal. I don’t think you would like to stick … Continue reading
