I HATE CuteFTP!!! Advises anyone…

I would prefer to make a good pick on purchasing a really good FTP program for changing my website. As yet with big hope I became using CuteFTP. I dont understand what you people give thought to this program, and I this self heard lots of good things concerning this. My personal 1 year use experience is it is a program with the majority of unstable connection and the majority unstable uploading job. Really, I reckon that the simple your windows program commander is much more stable in things of FTP operate than CuteFTP. Its not simply flame, I been employing CuteFTP for multiple year now, and I start really hate video games. Good, I’m an second time beginners wedesigner and I am using Microsoft Frontpage with the last few decades. I know basic HTML and steps to make decent sites having Frontpage. For the top time I’ve been trying to get a decent map-reading bar up which stays put when you browse through various other pages. Fundamentally, it looks like he can edit just one page and the navigation bar will probably automatically be current onto every internet page of his site. I’m actually writing with respect to my g/f who lives inside Philippines. I’m currently spending money on her to visit a college in Cebu for a " Web Program Design" course. target the wrong directory???

I have targeted the drastically wrong directory for the images. For example, my domain can be chueh. com. I uploaded all of the images under chueh. com. All of them show up which have no problems. Let’s employ house. jpg as one of many pictures. I loaded house. jpg for a second time under " living" subdirectory (chueh. com/living/house. jpg)………….. Here comes the challenge.. WHEN I tried both img src=" www. chueh. com/living/house. jpg" and also img src=" house hold. jpg" as code within the page. Neither advisors works…… I could upload all of the images again under the subdirectory " dwelling, " and img src=" house hold. jpg" will absolutely work. Updating/restarting web design skills

Eliminate me if this can be posted somewhere altogether different, but I’m just having difficulty on where to start with. My skills are outdated to speak about the least. I used to be a BASIC programmer about Decade ago and obtaining it the GUI legitimate. I started studying HTML in Notepad carrying out FTP uploads and at that point is when WHEN I stopped. Currently I’ve employed FrontPage2003 and Vision Web Developer to design my, now closed, business and actually got the legitimate juices going for a second time.
