Newbie question, need DWMX help
I’m trying to hook up the shopping cart in order to zillions of enhance cart buttons (also drop-down listings, check boxes, and so on. ) All it is in DreamweaverMX, and this is my difficulty: I can do enhance cart either by using link or form, but I can’t determine how the cart is supposed to tell one enhance cart button, and so on., from another. It looks in my opinion like they all have same url, and I don’t see a better way the forms determine them uniquely also. I’m thinking it is a basic enough concern it probably would not matter if it is in DWMX and also not (also their forum tends to get you ads without having to anything helpful; -) Whilst I’m truly pathetic along with code, just enjoying a handle on what exactly makes the distinction should sort this out… I desire! Thanks beforehand, Leila.

Many thanks. Charge just what you think they will pay. The price isn’t the amount of you want : but rather just how much they’re willing to fund the services rendered. It totally depends upon your experience and other work. For those off-the-wall refrence: I work from an art gallery in addition to grown up throughout the art scene this whole life. The guy this does one gallery i always work in (it’s actually sort of two in one) … Continue reading

Printing FrontPage Forms
The present web site I’m designing carries a print-and-mail form. I just now tested the kind by filling the idea out and printer it with 1 major problem: The radio buttons are generally refusing to impress! Any ideas Probably a setting as part of your local browser that is definitely preventing them coming from printing. Try printing from a different computer to help verify that it’s the form and not laptop computer Furthermore… why on earth do you think you’re doing mail-in online forms! The net has antiquated mailbox altogether. Why not invest a couple of bucks and generate your form submit to your database… or inside very least to your email inbox! Trust me… the increase throughout responsiveness and efficiency will in excess of pay itself out of. Thanx for your info; will test with another computer in the office tomorrow. (And really, I changed the radio buttons for you to checkboxes and these types of print – choose figure! ) For the mail-in internet form: One thing the web site provides is definitely 4 products/services. Ecommerce Site
Our cousin needs a strong Ecommerce site to sell his company t-shirts. I understand how to design sites, I have never developed an Ecommerce web page before. I’m aware i need to somehow develop a ‘shopping cart’ or something selling the shirts, but how to go about doing that may be there a healthier way He can’t have the funds for much, but he will pay for something if its worth it… Make sure you help! Either try and install/customize oscommerce or perhaps spend few bucks and hire an installer for just a quick job. Wouldn’t cost a lot for someone to run and customize osCommerce. It is a great shopping wagon with almost everything you will require. Is it possible to do to create the basic site, after which it just have a connect to the t-shirts place, where it will probably redirect to a further site created by a ecommerce business I don’t see any kind of problem with that. AOL browser differences
A little while ago a consumer of mine was utilizing a web site contractor system, and they have problems logging within AOL. It seemed as a problem specific to help AOL. In terms of I am knowledgeable, AOL uses Net Explorer as their browser. Nevertheless, when the customer minimised AOL along with opened Internet Explorer, everyday connected to AOL, the online site builder process worked fine with regard to them. Why would when using the AOL browser, that’s Internet Explorer right(), work different from Internet Explorer outwith the actual AOL interface My client is actually concerned that AOL users can have difficulty accessing and logging in the web site that we am now visiting build for these people. Beware of known issues with all the AOL browser inside the latest versions with the AOL system Thanks. Stephen AOL’s terrible dynamics of screwing in place cookies and linking via a swarm regarding different IPs for every HTTP transaction is actually legendary. There isn’t much you can do about it, sorry to say. So this would explain the problems logging right web site in that case. E-Commerce Question
my cousin incorporates a company and wants to sell t-shirts on the web… whats the best way to do this, if he provides limited HTML knowledge and never much money to spend on setting the idea up. I can make as well as but I don’t know how to handle it about having persons shop on his / her site… u gotta build a shopping cart application. Not too challenging but takes many math skills in relation to the actual basket. In case you have some knowledge or javascript as well as a server side language then you should be fine. To have credit card transactions with your site then ur gonna have to fork out some cash, unless you want a dud company to handle it for anyone. For credit card transactions you need to use Pay Pal buttons on the site. It eliminates your need to obtain a merchant account.
How to create user sign in
I want to have a user sign in form upon my website to ensure that when a customer revisits my website the guy can just sign in his user title and password. Eventually I need to hook way up a shopping cart to all this but can easily anyone give myself the code because of this Thanks. Server can be IIS on Windows 2000 SP3 It is not as simple as it sounds. You’ll need to create a database with the user name and password feature, and the shopping cart can be an even larger activity. Do you know PHP or ASP No I convinced dont but if there is a tutorial on the internet or in a book i always can read for getting an idea with what all is entailed which will be nice. I just need basic guidance into the resources I can use to make this happen. I am not concerned with shopping carts at the moment though. That is later on in life. Pick a new language and start learning it. I’d personally recommend PHP, because that is definitely easier to find out. Get a reserve or start doing lessons on the internet. Creating a … Continue reading
