Beginning Web designer.

Designing for 19"+ monitors and high screen resolutions

Should anyone have applying for grants how best to style web pages this display well in the typical monitor/resolution developed (lets use 17" monitor at 1024 times 768 resolution) but that do not look horrible when viewing inside the same on a 19" or greater monitor or at high resolutions (1280 a 1024 or higher) I realize this may not relate into the larger population, yet, but I am looking for the right sense of balance between controlled style and design and display plus formats that fine-tune well to a great ever growing selection of end-user configurations. Using fixed width focused layouts, you can end up getting a small box (your web page) surrounded by millions of pixels of nothingness. Fluid layouts, you have a horizontal pain with text wrinkles of 100 words or maybe more. I’m just not getting something…

Hi all, I’m no newbie on the subject of web stuff, Formerly suffering with tinnitus active in the net world for about Three years now. That staying said, I EVEN NOW struggle with design and style. I am taking care of a mock-up for the potential client and I just now feel like there’s something that I’m not getting. I want your website to follow the present trends and, throughout my eyes, it is just not presently there. So here’s a pic of what I have so far. Any constructive criticism can be much appreciated. As well, I don’t have got a legit copy of the logo yet, that is why that looks thus crummy. I think we need to see your site " for real". To us it looks FINE. But how it appearance full-size, and how it resizes are going to be something we need to see. Also, the opposite pages would be nice to see.
