Autoredirect on domain typed…
Here’s the problem.. I have a tally with a hosting company right this moment that gives me 2 domain names. I’m using not even 10% of my own alloted bandwidth/space… so I wanted to make use of my deal while I have it. I have two domains I would like to host on one basically… (I have 3 OR MORE domains right now) I wanted to know if it turned out possible (using. htaccess) to route a hit subject to the domain someone entered. Case: Forms in: www. maindomain. com Redirects to be able to: nothing, normal bottom directory. / Forms in: www. otherdomain. com Redirects to be able to /otherdomain/ subfolder with site. Is that this possible Or am I merely dreaming do that: Code: rewriteEngine on rewriteCond %HTTP_HOST otherdomain. com/. *$ AND ALSO, NC rewriteCond %HTTP_HOST urlwww. otherdomain. com/. */url$ AND ALSO, NC rewriteRule (. *)$ urlhttp: //maindomain. com/otherdomain//url$1 You might also direct two domains for the same page and now have the page existing content dynamically with the domain that is typed in. Used to do that for an organization one time this had 20 domains pointing to the same website. Basically, each had a look and … Continue reading

Irritating forced redirect
Perhaps you have been to a website similar to some sort of newspaper, where you have a mass of connected articles. Think about the site is named: www. storiesandmore. com Any link would send to www. storiesandmore. com/subfolder/article. xxx, except several that would send to some commercial website www. buyourstuff. spam Once you read any of the www. storiesandmore. com/subfolder/article. xxx, you can always press the particular ‘back’ button in your browser, to make contact with the previous web page. Not with the www. buyourstuff. spam. Once you click the ‘back’ button together with the audial ‘click’ firmness, you immediately hear another ‘click’, and you are rerouted back to be able to www. buyourstuff. spam In the event you rapidly click this ‘back’ button, you hear a parallell double click sound, taking you back to the spam web page. Is niagra some javascript malware script, and can there be anyway you can certainly shield yourself versus it Javascript, I believe. Firefox, at least, is smart enough who’s can detect some of those. I just use the arrow almost the Back button in such circumstances… which clarifies that it’s no less lame.

Working locally.then uploading
Now i am updating some pages using a website and I’m implementing the page regionally on my computer with Dreamweaver CS3. I got just wondering after My organization is done and I’m willing to upload will all my links work proper. Because I notice every one of the links in the code is compared to referenced on my personal local computer. Hopefully this makes sense to some one. Hi. When you created the buttons via Dreamweaver (rather in comparison with say typing all of them by hand) then they will point towards the path to this file. Meaning while you upload them the links is not going to work. As an example lets say in a very folder name you will have the file index. html and as file you want a check out photos. html. Nevertheless, photos. html is a subfolder called, then your link will probably be come misc/photos. html The problem is placed in that for anyone who is working on a niche site locally, the path begins at the root of your website, so when you upload the links might be something like.

Best method to install a blog in an existing website?
Howdy everyone, I’m exploring Blogger and CMSs on the whole. General CMSs are generally easy enough to make use of, but I’m having problems with WordPress. To my family, learning WordPress is more difficult than learning HTML DOCUMENT, even though WordPress should certainly be meant regarding laymen. Their assist articles are quite horrible too. What I’m wanting to do is develop a new page with my directory (blog. php). It provides the same stylings since my other pages, since they all make use of the same stylesheet and also php includes. In the content area on the other hand, I want a blog inserted, by using WordPress functionality. Is there methods to do this I explored thinking about making themes in WordPress, but realized that it might be about 50x more challenging than making a template file in HTML with involves. Plus, it seems that I would have to do it from the WP theme directory, and have to generate separate stylesheets/includes on the ones in the base directory. I want to add this because I need to expand on my how does someone include design content articles. Furthmore, I want to know how to comprise a feature such as … Continue reading
