are left navs no longer popular?
Ive been seeing a lot of sites without still left side navs nowadays, has the general trend moved from navs on this left side solely have top based navs as well as what When transio has reported before, left navs tend to be good for web pages that have a lot of links. Many PHP sites get left nav. Navs about the left or top rated are still famous. You can use each one, or if you’re really good, you can look at to build a good site w/ the nav to the right. left continues to the best, because that’s what ppl utilized to. top is definitely good too. can’t remember a site with a correct nav.. *shrug Seriously, Right Nav, haven’t debated with that one in sometime… lol I could truthfully really not imagine a good reason to perform right nav, except your target market was Left-Handed Rodents Users… LOL… perfect for just a lefty’s only website… May be people in favour of top nav do so to receive more content to the main page…. thats a good 200 pixels gone if you do right nav, according to how descriptive your own menu buttons tend to be…. Your … Continue reading →

site nav, sub menu — help!?!
Hello! Now i am using ImageReady, implementing my layout, mastering as i choose. I’ve never employed slicing before, plus i’m having difficulties. We’ve a basic nav menus, with buttons, plus rollovers. I’m attempting to make it so that when the user clicks on the button a submenu unwraps up. I’ve made use of slices and onclick rollovers, along with the submenu does appear when the particular button is clicked… Then again, when the sensitive mouse is moved them dissappears! I tried giving out the slices to incorporate the areas the submenus are in, but some with the submenus overlap (some get more links as compared to others) so ImageReady wouldn’t quite well then , i’ll do that. Similar to i said, i have never started any page in ImageReady prior to, I usually work in DreamWeaver… And i can’t seem to search for the solution i need in the help files. Does anyone have any experience by using ImageReady or Navigation Menus similar to this I would appriciate just about any help! Thanks! .

How can i make the submenus to appear in the same line as the main menus
HOWDY to everybody, Im new in website designing, I possess a website that I’m updating www. sudansof. org the problem is the submenus are show up one line below the primary menus you can view it on the particular website, I realize that the problem is the script (correct my family if Im incorrect ) could someone tell me what can i change so the actual submenus appear inside same line considering the main menus, I’ll send the pieces of software. Thank you in advance Always save duplicates of any file(s) before you decide to change them… Save a copy in the safe place (in a new directory). Not one but two changes… Within your main " index" report, change all on the lines that employ MM_showmenu… Change the 18 into a 0… < any href=" javascript:; " onMouseOver=" MM_showMenu(window. mm_menu_0908025733_0, 177,, null, ‘image1’)" onMouseOut=" MM_startTimeout(); " > Reason: Which 18 is telling it to offset vertically 18 pixels. You don’t want to offset it by any means, so make these 0. That 177 offsets flat by 177 pixels, so it puts it off towards right (which is usually correct). ============== In the file called " mm_menu. js", change the … Continue reading →
