Web Content editor?

We need a content manager, much like which is often used on forums. ONE click BBCode. It would be a wysiwyg editor or it could possibly just be a new text area with buttons. Relating to been looking for one this afternoon but are actually having some problems. Only to make it crystal clear, i am not searching for a CMS answer. I am searching for something which can add more functionality over a basic textarea. Something that will allow a person to edit written content without knowing code. http: //www. fckeditor. net/ You might give that a go. Unfortunately, I can’t actually offer any help on tips on how to use it. appears promising thanks, i will take a look into it. In addition have a go on TinyMCE. TinyMCE will be nice… that’s what all the CMSes use. Both equally look pretty equivalent, i got fkdeditor to figureout within a few momemts and covers my needs. Thanks to the help guys. FCKeditor is fantastic but does anyone know of a more simple editor or a course for adding you own BOLD, ITALIC, and UNDERLINE buttons to your basic textarea.

Using tinymce in a dynamic form

Hello there all, The actual scenario is because follows: I’m using dreamweaver CS3 having Developer Toolbox off shoot. And a database which includes a table with fields: id(integer), name(varchar), content(longtext). The actual text inside quotes ( " " ) describes a field from the database. Concerning a form that has a dynamic list/menu item that gets the (" id" while value, and " name" as label) and it’s working like no bodies business!. And a textarea (for " content" field) which will contents are displayed dynamically using " Multi-Field Drop-down" server behaviour with the DeveloperToolbox > Mode Control. This means everything is working well, choose the " name" with the list/menu and it is corresponding " content" is displayed inside the textarea. Screenshots to help you understand better: Look at attachment 4131 Look at attachment 4132 The matter is when I place the tinymce script and also the text area will be successfully rigged way up with that good editor, it will not likely display " content" next time i choose a " name", it is going to only display that " content" with the first " name" available if your page loads, all over again, choosing a " name" … Continue reading

Which has already been more valuable to you, knowing PHP or knowing steps to make CMS templates I understand a little PHP (enough to to forms or perhaps edit WP web themes, etc. ) but I need to find out CakePHP to carry out frameworks.. But I also need to find out Joomla (and Drupal down the road.. ). It looks like both will take some rolling up in the sleeves, so I’d like some input spend money on what takes precedence. Any starting information or points in the right direction would be appreciated too. CMS (content supervision system)… most popular strategy to create a CMS is by using PHP and MySQL, but a CMS may very well be done with Perl, ASP, in addition to any server-side system scripting. I would figure out how to customize CMS devices, like Joomla, Drupal, Squidoo. By using that, you’ll be using plenty of PHP, and most probably AJAX, JQuery in addition to MySQL. . Haha, so basically I want both I think I understand enough PHP/jQuery/SQL to receive around. Maybe I’ll try Joomla very first, and if my own language knowledge … Continue reading
