So, I’m trying to switch to Opera
I used to use Firefox, but I can’t stand it anymore since: While and also a decent employment of following W3C requirements, it still fails the Acid2 test. It leakages memory like nuts. It crashes a good deal. Opera, on the other hand: Passes the Acid2 test. Is using less memory by using several tabs available than Firefox may just when recently launched. Hasn’t crashed (yet). It really does have some annoyances, like having any much different UI simply by default than Firefox or perhaps IE. I’ve custom-made it heavily in order to my liking, including replacing this default skin which has a skin that looks very much like native Windows EXP (for example, the tabs look like, you know, tabs at this point, not taskbar buttons). I also can’t stand the error console whatsoever compared to Firefox. Lastly, accesskeys are broken or not even set up by means of default. There’s no keyboard accelerator for any password manager dialog (" do you want to remember this specific password"… it’s " r" inside Firefox and " y" inside IE). But I still gives all that upward for following W3C standards without crashing and employing all 1 GB of my RAM … Continue reading

corporate design
Hi. I’m pretty innovative at web designing and I’ve been assigned to style the UI with regard to our intranet. In a way, I don’t realize how to go about this. The page is probably full of sorts, that’s basically it. Anybody have any strategies on how i should design it Here’s a sample associated with what I created. (I know it sucks, that’s why I’m trying for help) Target what the page can do… It looks for instance you have some kind of entry system When you find yourself using PHP and a database for holding and processing the info from your forms I might look at implementing AJAX (PHP and Javascripting) to create the type experience smooth and effortless. Even even though you’re simply just doing the UI aspect, you’ll need to your workplace directly with the actual person(s) which are doing the scripting (the back again end part). It’s the " intranet", internal for your business, so the structure needs to be uncomplicated to read, easy to operate, but the actual operation in the forms is what is important for you. hey! Thanks for your reply. Well, yeah such as that. We’re employing ASP. I’m actually coordinating … Continue reading

design question
Howdy there folks We have a client who would like me to layout her website which has a similar feel/layout in order to chaircoversforbrides. co. uk Can someone point me in the right direction in respect of how it is designed That is the ‘shop’ part involving it. I’m guessing who’s is using php. Because my knowledge within php is confined, is there another way of repeating this Like using joomla/wordpress/prestashop/other e-commerce software I like the ‘wizard’ kind of nav bar that they have – choose covers – choose sash — check order for example etc. If anyone can certainly recommend on how in achieving this, I will often be extremely grateful. Additional notes she doesn’t need/want a web based payments system established just yet. Only a service that presents quotes. Thanks earlier That might have been built using almost anything, but if Pondered to guess, I’d say it is just a custom solution utilizing PHP. The code is actually too obscure to find it out conclusively, which is a very important thing from a design view. Pulled it up in BuiltWith (Chrome extension). Coursesmart pretty much owns the gamut of technologies. PHP, jQuery UI, Adobe flash.

VPS
We have a project concept, But i kinda need assist in see if it can be even possible. I want to secure a VPS and therefore run some programs personally. Then use a GUI to overpower it. But can we really access and command the VPS on the website So plainly have a consumer then can log in one particular then access there vps program so they really dont have to download everything to run the program to the vps if anyone may also help me out, I’ll really appreciate this. All will depend on the programs plus the level of OS IN THIS HANDSET interaction you’re discussing. Ib executed this with quite a few programming of accounts, etc. That needed certain levels of accessibility not normally obtainable in a shared natural environment, but I created some classes that truly can be accessed from a protected web web site. If you’re wanting to hand them over some remote having access to the actual vps I’m unsure how… But if you’re using citrix to reach he vps, yes they want a web based client, but it will still require a on one occasion client download in addition to install. It all … Continue reading
