Frontpage – trying to create a column

Hi there. I am innovative to web layout. I bought Frontpage 2002 along with used a template to build a web site for me. I now prefer to edit the design of this web site. Today, the web page is known for a column on the particular left side by using links to other pages. The rest of the web site is actually one big region. I do not think that this is aesthetically appealing. I wish to split the right side in the web site into two columns. Can anyone inform me how to do this I read i need to increase tables. Right click inside right collum after which it click on ‘split cells’ basic as that… you can also insert tables in to cells, this will also help with versatility Thank you for the response. im a preety new web designer and was wanting to know what languages you guys utilize the most and what ones are more helpful. please post Many thanks I use CSS essentially the most because I think it offers the most versatility inside your designs, but it can even be the biggest hassle unless you know what you’re doing. It’s quite handy though. To define essentially the most useful it genuinely depends on what kind of web work you want to do. Designing for great companies would require a language that is the most cross appropriate. Designing smaller jobs may require a language that delivers versatility (like CSS, because I stated above). Coming up with databases for businesses would require PHP, ASP, or something of this sort. Then there’s always Java and various languages in order to dsign web applets or even CGI. It all really depends upon where you want to go with the idea. thanks. any one else have any favorite languages CSS is actually cool stuff. FireWorks – Dreamweaver interface

Id like to design my very own website and Dreamweaver didnt possess the versatility to style and design, so I went along to Fireworks but them cannot manage a site. (I’m new in order to Macromedia Dreamworks for the 3 weeks currently and using mastering video CD fr Teach-U-Comp. MY PARTNER AND I dont know coding) DW doesnt have Layers but not good as standalone to generate apealing websites. Its like a Word processor where you may insert images one line at the moment. Thus I draw fr Fireworks and tried to stick in the PNG that will DW, and theres where Managed to get stagnant. How will i make Firewoks use Dreamweaver Ones responses are liked. First coming from all realize that your applications do distinct things. Fireworks need to be used to generate graphics, Dreamweaver is for building web web pages. It is going to benefit you in order to also learn code and how that will works. Once you realize the basics, understand how to implement graphics right website. Desire that helps.
