Question on making left and right borders on a website perfectly to go with the site
Hi, I was just taking a look at a few sites and We were very interested inside knowing what the correct procedure is in creating these eventually left and right watering holes so perfectly and also have the site at the center. I’ve tried it myself but failed to do so…. Here are a few examples http: //www. thewalkingdead. com/ http: //www. homelanxtreme. com/ You’ll see there are some nice borders within the left and right that almost makes the internet site intact and good to consider…. How can MY PARTNER AND I make these One of many easist ways would be to make a horizontal strip with smooth top and bottom edges then repeat it right down the article. The following value shows how… … < head> < type type=" text/css" > html document, body foundation: url(‘images/bg. gif’) repeat-y; < /style> < /head>… The particular image (bg. gif) would simply be a small long rectangle aproximently somewhere between 1024-1600 pixels broad and something tiny like 25 pixels excessive with two lashes running verticaly down the middle representing the perimeter shadows. The stripes could well be spaced roughly 350 pixels outwards with the centre… In the items you’ve listed they … Continue reading

Graphic Uploading Problem…I’m new, please help!
This is certainly my first time making a webpage and I am using Frontpage. I am aware very little, as a result, about webpages. The webpage We are making is to get a class and we have been provided having a site to publish on. I have submitted my pages and also everything is fine aside from the theme layouts. I have decided on preset themes throughout Frontpage for my personal webpages and any graphics based on them, including banners, background scenes, bullets, page dividers, and link watering holes, show up because broken. Everything otherwise uploads fine. Can someone remember to explain this to my advice simply and tell me the way to fix it Thanks so much. Suggestions the site: http: //students. usm. maine. edu/sarah. j. anderson It links to the other sites I created i always am also having theme difficulty with. Welcome towards forums! The title picture is associated with: http: //students. usm. maine. edu/sarah. j. anderson/_derived/index. html_cmp_artsy010_bnr. gif Is that where it actually is Unless the image is named " listing. html_cmp_artsy010_bnr. gif", I’d say your website is messed upwards. What is the precise name of the file Zero… let me decide if I can make … Continue reading

Hey im pretty new to web site design but im looking to build a site for some upon my photography and i simply have two or three questions.. The initial question is.. associated with been to an affiliate site and it re also sizes it self and you also cant maximize it how ever go about doing that… The second question is my own wallpaper is 1378×824 is that this to big to become my background to get my site.. Thanks lilly 1. Do not. I hate internet sites that mess together with my browser. It’s my web browser and I’ll make a decision what size the window has been to be thankyou. On the other hand, if you really should do it : They open any popup window applying javascript. When you need to do that, you have manipulate over what items are on the new window, electronic. g. resize, site bar, scroll watering holes, etc. Two problems that you come up agains. Few people turn javascript off of for security causes. Your site won’t benefit them. Many more people right now have popup blockers put in on their computer (e. g. yahoo and google toolbar). These blockers will … Continue reading
