New design…
I’m designing a brand new layout for the webdesign site, this is a pic of what I have so far: http: //www. crystalwizard. net/concept. jpg It’s suposed to seem like a moded IE windowpane, but I here’s having trouble getting a number of the graphics to look realistic. Does anyone have got any advice about technics or lighting Possible use to allow it to become look better Every oppinions on that so far Thank you well first off Xp would be a better choice of OS to work with imo and for the lighting I would not add the particular lighting affect but i truly dont know complete idea behind the planning loks iffy but thats jmo Yep I agree, XP/Mac OSX shows ‘cutting edge’ and looks far more sexy, but even similar to the default NT scheme may be more easily related to by businesses. It’s my realizing a client is more prone to care about your surface value of the web site plus how it features them; in short they couldn’t give you a hoot what technologies/tools get. After all your the internet designer, not the client how much would they understand White wine on black is usually … Continue reading

Designing for maximum browser compatibility …
What does one all think in relation to designing for internet browser compatibility Up until recently I had just been focusing on optimizing my internet sites for Internet Explorer; which i thought was one of the most common browser. I have heard even more lately about Firefox and Netscape browsers and how they might display content in another way to. I downloaded both these browsers and seen my site in most three and MY SPOUSE AND I only noticed insignificant variations. Mostly it turned out minor text sizing and spacing difficulties. The image boarders appeared expanded somewhat in Firefox in addition to Netscape too, and the default window width is bigger. (Myself and also most people i always know, usually view the internet in a 800×600 IE window and my web-sites are disigned to best integrate this siz windowpane as well) So I do not see these small variations as that big of your deal to fret much about. The viewer would still find the same info via my site if they were on these three browsers. But I saw a few other sites which looked way down in Firefox along with Netscape over IE. Maybe My business is doing … Continue reading
Problem: Cant see site offline
WE use an not online browser to suck my own site up and see it traditional but Unless I’m linked to the internet MY PARTNER AND I can’t see the item. HELP. Especially, how does that (not) work I use Dreamweaver to be a browser and when I’m offline POST can’t get colors and also other capabilities. Real sterile exploring. How can I find see it offline with a normal look to it. You probably are deprived of your paths set you might say that allows them to be seen online. If it’s colorations and attributes my guess would be you are linking to a css file that cannot be found by dreamweaver. Select the css windowpane and select Add a CSS track… browse to record and you’re done.

Dreamweaver, using behavior appear in new window
MY PARTNER AND I used Dreamweaver to style this site. On two pages i create a gallery associated with images. How they work is you visit a little thumbnail with the image, and a much larger image appears in the new window. Well sometimes as soon as that image pops up inside the other window it appears behind the main window that’s already open so the viewer doesn’t realize that it has sprang up until soon after they’ve closed out the principle window. But the actual catch is, it doesn’t happen everyday. I’ve tried that on 6 numerous computers, and some reopen in front, and on others open behind main windowpane. Is there something i’ll do to alter this Please aid.

Does Size Really Matter?
Good day, We are a newbie to web design. I made our page 1696 times 1438. You guys noticed it and said I were required to take it lower a notch. Now its 1280 x 800 that is popular I listen to. I just got done redesigning the idea in photoshop. While i preview it them doesnt fill your page. So What will i do to complete the page Should i make it 1920 wide and center the middle How do i make it so if the user opens the actual page big it will eventually stretch, but if the page is tiny the center will probably be what the user sees compared to the topo left from the page BTW A person guys really aided me last time frame thanks! 1280 x 800 is a popular monitor file size. Best size for most websites is 960 huge. Centering the web page is popular (look from this site for example of how to do that). PS – LOL the title of this thread. I wasn’t guaranteed whether I’d look for a spammer’s post inside or a respectable question. LOL. One easy way is as Moseley claimed, design 960px large and … Continue reading
