Using Templates

Hi guys, Dilemma. I recently started using web themes and am somewhat confused. If I choose to use a template, is the template first thing I make For instance, I made the homepage and referred to as it index. html document. I then preserved that index. html as being a template. Should I not have saved it being an index. html and simply just saved it as being a template to start with Cause the challenge I’m running into now is must i update my index. html file or must i update my template Of course , if I do up-date my template, can that update this index. html track or doesn’t the item, since the index. html wasn’t made with the template Im so confused. If someone could shed some light on this subject template thingy with luck that would end up being great. Thanks.: -/ Vyriance I’m guessing you’re discussing Dreamweaver Avoid. Sorry. I needs to have mentioned that. Definitely discussing Dreamweaver. Any suggestions Vyriance There may be one thing just before I answer your question. Navigation Bar Out of whack

Without doubt guys, It’s me again. Sorry Patient asking so a lot of questions. I’m simply just so stuck. Suggestions the current concern. I7m using Dreamweaver (CS4) to design a website. I created a template that that includes a navigation bar at it. Its a pretty standard direction-finding bar. Home, About Us, Shop, Occasions Blog Those include the menu labels of every. After I help you save everything and place it on this server, whenever say for example I click about Events. It successfully brings me to the events page. The events page even offers the navigation tavern in it(since I created each of the pages from first template. Now when POST click on among the other menu labels inside navigation bar, from the events page, it doesn’t bring me anywhere you want to. I just stick to the events era. Name That Menu Button

Really need to consolidate two nav menu buttons to save money on space. I will be trying to think of a single, catchy word to work with for a drop-down menu button that could drop down links to some ‘Contact’ page including a ‘FAQs’ page. Preferably a single word that most adult visitors inside the education profession is attracted to so as to find a contact form as well as a faqs page… Have rejected ‘Information’ – there after I am obstructed! The web is so visible at 7shares. org Cheers in advance for virtually any suggestions! ShareFAQS Thanks to have a stab. Great portmanteau — but I wonder that the ‘Share’ half indicates the Contact form Basically, if one ended up looking about for the contact form, would one want to find that below ShareFAQs In this instance, the Contact form is simply that – a straightforward ‘Contact Us’ type… Thanks again, I looked at the site and don’t see why the buttons can’t stay the best way they are. That makes perfect feeling keeping them independent. Maybe FAQS need to be changed to " About" Thanks again – am about to add pages that will require navbar buttons, … Continue reading

Webpage Width issue

I am in the deal of designing a fresh theme for my wordpress powered site. I decided that it would make my entire life easier if POST simply created a great HTML page 1st so I already had almost all styling issues exercised and could in that case use that to be a template for my personal new theme. The condition that I’m having is always that when I run the the site it adds a small amount to thicker (only about YOUR FIVE pixels or so). I’m less than sure why it’s working. I only want to buy to cover 100% in the page, not 100% plus several pixels. The program code is as uses: HTML: < html> < head> < design type=" text/css" > * border: 0; padding: 0; body background-color: #FFF; colour: #000000; #container2 size: 100%; margin: 0 auto; #header width: 100%; border: 0 auto; background: #FFF url(top. png) repeat-x; #lotp margin-left: TWELVE; #catch width: 520px; place: relative; top: -130px; still left: 200px; #catch any color: #FFF; #rss place: relative; top: -170px; drift: right; margin-right: -12; #navbar place: relative; top: -37px; margin-left: TWELVE; #navbar a text-decoration: it’s unlikely that any; padding-top: 2; #navbar any: hover border-top: 2px … Continue reading

Virtually 100% of pcs are Flash-enabled. Robot supports Flash. Loads of people with iPhones work with their computers most the time they surf online. So that stat looks right, in terms associated with % of trainings. I’m sure iPad could bring the phone number up a tiny bit, though. Maybe when high as 10%. Because people will certainly use teh iPad to … Continue reading
