MAC or PC?

I really like the Mac, its far more effective than a LAPTOP running windows. MY SPOUSE AND I work faster, am more secure and well, life’s the peach. Furthermore I never get virus’s and haven’t must trouble shoot within the 18 month’s using a mac. The only downside is that I must fire up my laptop to see my site in internet explorer. Not ideal but then again its a sacrifice worth making. Thats my opinion anyway. I try a Macbook and it has been a good program in my forays into web development (I seem to have given it upwards recently, after a broad coding sesh become a waste connected with time). For those who have the cash and you aren’t into PC video gaming, I’d recommend just one. OK well that’s sort of what I seemed to be think I must do is jump returning to window IE and see the way the site looks or use the BootCamp feature in the new Leopard COMPUTER ITSELF and load Windows which would be great. But am i going to still code identical in Mac as I’d in Windows useing CODE, XHTML and CSS Thanks to the input also… Largely … Continue reading

Client proposal letter

Accomplish any of you send letters to likely clients for world wide web dev work Beware of any templates out and about there Regards I would advocate not sending away generic letters for generic website development services. Produce a Unique Selling Proposition. Talk about distinct problems, and provide strong benefits. You could potentially start by detailing the unique price you bring on the table competitors never. While I agree that using a template is a negative idea, I think they are a good reference so you may not leave out any of the basics a consumer is expecting.

Creating a dynamic image?

What I’d like to do is definitely w/ some snazzy value (php / javascript / CSS / mysql), is always to create a background for the forum avatar. Now because avatars will come in different sizing’s, the background should expand to the larger ones. I know sometimes it is done w/ a few CSS, but Now i’m no expert From the example below (click the actual pic, it’ll mature, easier to see), consider the blue square for the red background (the left half) as a static image, while using right half as being a full red background, with the avatar above it (CSS magic! ). At this point, in the very first one, the avatar is from the standard parameters (say 1×1 to 50×50 pixels within size), so some computer code w/ a 54×54 pixel red-colored square image would work with some CSS placing to center your avatar’s upper eventually left corner to A FEW, 3 on that background image would work properly. Note that it is assuming with any 50×50 avatar, it’ll give you a 2 pixel border about the avatar, hence the particular 3, 3 placement ANYWAY, here we reach the real problem. In the next image, you’ll … Continue reading
