Welcome, Safari, to the Wide World
Properly, it looks such as Safari’s running at Windows! Steve Jobs introduced at WWDC with regards to five minutes past that Safari could be available to work on Windows. Faster than many of the competition, naturally, using the possible exception connected with Opera, which is usually blazing fast. It should be available at http: //www. apple company. com/safari UPDATE: Available now. UPDATE 2: Sorry, I also didn’t remember to mention just about the most significant aspect on this: Safari on House windows and Mac will be identical to the actual Safari running around the iPhone, and the primary tool for extending the itouch new generation ipod with external apps really should be writing online applications. Schweet http: //www. macworld. corp. uk/ipod-itunes/news/index. cfmnewsid=18262 simply just got it, great Can’t wait to get home to notice how it displays sites using a wide screen. I’d also like to discover more info on the way you make web apps for any iPhone. How would you activate dialing, or perhaps contacts, or whatnot Those might be automatically handled. Or perhaps not. I haven’t so much delved into it. But it might be a lot like GMail auto-recognizes contact and Skype is often configured to … Continue reading

require name and e-mail to download a PDF
I have a PDF file I want to let users download from my site. However, I want for you to require them in order to enter a appoint and e-mail address to do so. I’m not quite sure how I should try this. Is there some form of CGI/Perl or PHP plug-in WHEN I should install as well as use Or perhaps there is something else For PHP, it must be relatively straightforward. Produce a form, make it point towards PHP script, after which have the PHP script authenticate all of them, then redirect them into the appropriate PDF track. Alternatively, you may make the PHP script straight read the PDF in after which write it out to the browser, which will mean that you could put your PDF FILE somewhere where it’s literally impossible gain access to without authentication. As a final point, you can employ plain ol’ HTTP authentication with a. htaccess and. htpasswd track, if you hence wish.

I’m so sick on the Web2. 0 structure junk. People need to color over and above the lines occasionally. Yep… 2’s great. I like it all… simple and useful yeah, number 2’s one to choose think i’m ging to figure on both even more and re-submit them. ta for your comments. had some bad feed back regarding the splats and my partner and i sorta agree thus will rework a number it and posting again far better layout. any ideas or crit. ta I think I still prefer your second one above. Hi Everybody My business is a new designer/coder and We’ve a client who does like his customers to sign up for a newsletter. He would including the email addresses which have been submitted in store his email handle. I created the particular subscribe button and box for any customers to enter their email however I don’t learn how to make the submitted addresses check out his email. Support! Well… you will use a server-side language to do that… like PHP or maybe. NET or sometimes Perl. PHP may be the mostly utilised language but talk with your host, see what they assistance. Then… choose which language you’ll be using. Does he simply want the email address of these that register with come straight to his inbox, or does they want them for being stored in the database to mail the newsletters away Right now this individual just wants it in store his inbox but I would love to know how to do it both ways in case. Thanks – I’ll consult my host.

Dreamweaver views
Hello I am not sure that forum this needs to be in so here goes: I am employing Dreamweaver 8 over a Mac which has a wide screen the apple company cinema monitor. I utilize the code and design and style split view. I am obtaining it frustrating i always can not find methods to change the divide from horizontal to vertical and Search engines isn’t helping sometimes. I just would like to use up additional of my screen while designing/coding. Thank you for any strategies. I’m undecided… but why would you like two views, at any rate Try living exclusively on code. I spend my own time mostly throughout design but sometimes tweak in code or need to see why something will be wrong. The current layout design+code is really setup for symbol screens. I get such wasted breathing space. Well, design mode generally creates crap code. So it is just a bad idea. In the event you insist on utilizing it, see if you are able to open up a couple of windows of Dreamweaver that may work together. POST haven’t used Dreamweaver throughout forever, though, so I don’t know if that’ll perform. Real editors help you split … Continue reading

I just need to have it so an individual can order products suitable shopping cart, but I would really prefer to read through to the basics along with beyond. So, does anyone determine what a great guide book for facilitating with coding and starting a store site would be There is lots of shopping cart available that would be much better than one person could write on their own Cube Carry is good, Zen Carry is good, as well as OS Commerce are generally good. If a person’s host has Fantistico set up, these are in all likelihood included for a totally free install. I’ve used CubeCart and it seems to work perfectly. They have payment gateways on most popular credit cartomancy merchants. Another resource to look at is the buyer themselves. If they already accept plastic cards, most credit machine retailers give a software or searching cart. Ask them to measure with their bank card machine company to discover if they do offer one. I recently developed a website for a purchaser and his cc company offered … Continue reading
