Publishing Problems.. Dazzed and Confused :(

I want some troubleshooting suggestions and am hoping someone might help. We have put together an internet site . for a buddy using Dreamweaver. We have only ever employed frontpage and passport in advance of so Dreamweaver appeared to be a steep learning curve to me. Without training We have been relying on the trial and error method which has served me nicely….. untill now. We have never published a website before. We have successfully created the website ‘Hooray’ and are actually ‘putting’ the files in the wwwroot folder on my hosting node. There is a viewer around the server which permits you to check the websites. The homepage i always have saved seeing that index. htm happens blank and the particular subsequent pages are being displayed without pictures. If I variety my URL in to a browser a concept appears informing me that i am not authorised to evaluate the site….. even a niche site without images could be better than this specific message! which web editing software is the best?

i need to make a mock ” up ” site for this uni port folio.. i had been gonna use the front page.. but it sucks.. so my mate said go intended for adobe go stay.. i have no experice for it, but do by using photoshop.. anyone know what the best one is… opinions/view welcome ps.. not sure if this is due to the right position It really depends on your skill degree. Go Live is a superb enough program and if you are familiar with Illustrator, should be easy to master for you. Dreamweaver Layers

Hi… Im developing a site for a pal and have going it in dreamweaver FIVE. I have established a central table to keep the content and considering using layers to support the menu bar as well as actual content Is this the best ways of doing it As well, when I develop the layers and also do an F12 along with view them within the browser the aren’t where I placed them Need to manually move them around but then they don’t appear correct within DW! As well, is it simply easier (and better) to utilize PHP with some sort of MySQL db I have no idea PHP at all so this can include a problem…: ermm: Just about any ideas folks!!! Cheers! Very informative and has something for everyone, not to mention the hosts, Paul in addition to Marcus, are hillarious. Beginning Webmaster needs help!

Moving mysite off the top of the browser

Basically my business is making a flash site and also a html site for all those on low bandwidth junctions. Now my html is identical that will my flash a single except its static and lacks a few features. Now their only 500px excessive, so i has been hoping to centre it vertically. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get this done I have tried a few things but it has the just not developing. Having trouble thinking of a good design

Relating to been doing PHP Pieces of software for over ONLY TWO years now, but I for no reason have really experienced design. I am not great at it, but I need to find out so I can truely make my own , personal websites. How to make a flash site?

I recognize the drawbacks regarding flash but i do believe my site would benefit plenty if a version of it turned out in flash, people who do not need flash can entry to a html model. Does anyone have give tutorials on how we’d go about building a full flash webpage If We can suggest, for a start work with a software called SWISH.
