Renaming A File

This is certainly probably… no, it almost certainly is, a stupid issue but can renaming a new file alter or maybe hurt that file the slightest bit I’m not referring to changing the proxy but just the act of renaming a file especially with a server side FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL client, say switching the name with vampire. avi to be able to bat. avi. Yeah, I know that is an odd question but We were just having some difficulty with some people installing it and wanted to be sure, that’s all.

plz help with webapge

i might like to do one, but i cant see a good topuc first. plz help. I have been previously thionking about this particular for 4 working hours Um, type of hard when most of us dont know an individual.. And if you cant think about a topic IN THE LEAST in 4 working hours.. well your impossible lol. I would like you luck, maybe make it 5 hours -gaming -design -sports -cars -companys Those undoubtedly are a few that sprang into my head to start with. Don’t result in a site for your sake of the idea. If you use a real interest in something you are knowledgable in then go on and pick whatever an individual fancy. If its when learning purposes look at yourself, I’m sure eveyone have to have tried this gradually. seriously… Sure, personal is the best choices for beginners. Write info in relation to yourself, mix that with nice hues and voila -> the world wide web magic begins.

2 problems — need help!

Hello, I’m new to web design and this is definitely my first page: http: //gx-temp-domain. 50megs. com/ (it’s pertaining to my brood war clan). Having two problems with this, though, the first that is that I’ve unsightly blue/purple packing containers around my property’s buttons. Is this for the reason that they’re each inside their own table row/cell I’ve tried setting that will " link" plus " vlink" attributes to " white" in my body tag as a way to match the white-colored background, but that didn’t find a way to work. The next problem is with the iframe in the middle of the page. I sized it making sure that it would appear tasteful in IE6, but when investigating the page with Mozilla (linux compile) it can be distorted. Is there the best way that I may ensure cross-compatiblity concerning browsers That may be it, thanks!

Intro Page? yes, no, when?

Hello. I’m currently desiging an affiliate site for a non-profit operation group in the area. The way concerning done the site layout, i would like kid specify the visitor window’s size, however the only code i have found to start this involves opening a different browser window. This would imply my making a intro page with a link that opens the main site in the latest browser window… However i need ideas of that this site really needs a strong intro page in the least (for any reason apart from opening a brand new window). please help me with my animation

Good day everybody! We are new to website development, however I would want to make my expert page myself. I managed to make an animation making use of ImageReady. In the animation We would like three links, therefore I added slices and put backlinks. Though now my own animation downloads from the wrong order. And use thumb for animation if you can get ur grubby mitts with it! Why not a preloader or some sort of ‘loading’ message may possibly solve your earliest link. Have the animation start once your entire images are 100% full. And yes, Ide suggest flash for similar to that. But should you dont, I suggest you employ a preload associated with some sort.

Frontpage – trying to create a column

Hi there. I am innovative to web layout. I bought Frontpage 2002 along with used a template to build a web site for me. I now prefer to edit the design of this web site. Today, the web page is known for a column on the particular left side by using links to other pages. The rest of the web site is actually one big region. I do not think that this is aesthetically appealing. I wish to split the right side in the web site into two columns. Can anyone inform me how to do this I read i need to increase tables. Right click inside right collum after which it click on ‘split cells’ basic as that… you can also insert tables in to cells, this will also help with versatility Thank you for the response. quark 6 text box help

hello! perhaps there is a feature in order to automatically fit/size pasted text proper text box simply just changing the font measurement messes up the particular text layout. basically, i’m putting word from an a4 page to somewhat of a smaller 4" x6" text message box. bless you!

So… I am after something pretty specific, so I will do my ideal to explain the idea. I am after a databases system, available to be able to users of my personal website. I have to have a list of places with a page, then and therefore click one these, and for it and therefore bring up some sort of page with much more info about that spot.
