Is there any good XML editor?
As it seems that one’s destiny is on XML, WHEN I wan tot start coding in XML, rather than HTML. I have Dreamweaver 2004, will i edit with XML web sites, like I do with HTML. For instance, that when I create a text bold, in HTML it would: < b> Some Text< /b> Will DW do identical but with the best XML syntax Thnx can be decent, with good dictionaries and visual IDE for XSD. Somewhat sucks for XSL, though. will be the BOMB. It has a brilliant IDE (although the particular text editor is usually a little weak… it uses arial as the default font, lol). It will auto-generate XML sample files in the schema, it is known for a comprehensive XSL catalogue and IDE, very. It recognizes equally DTD and Schema. It’s pretty much the great thing available. You can easily download a 30-day test version from Altova. In the event that’s not long enough for you, they allow to extend the demo period another 30 days just by inputting an alternative email address. REVISE: Oh yeah, XML Spy will likely validate your XML files in the event you provide a schema intended for them. Pretty sweet … Continue reading

Flash Websites?
Im thinking about making a adobe flash website, are there the proper job tutorials on-line to help me begin www. flashkit. com world wide web. kirupa. com < < (flashkit is often a mess ) So far as I know thumb sites take a lot of time to download and visitors hate them. Besides it isn’t so good for search engines. So why do you choosed make it flash Only use it when you have some rreally fine additions that you would want to add to your website that you wouldn’t be capable to acheive with typical html and photos. I have seen plenty of sites recently that will use flash as well as take ages to help load. I get you them expecting a thing half decent when all i see can be a load of simple mouse over outcomes on menus that is certainly done simply by using image roll over with html. I would suggest you used simply a small bit of flash beyond doubt areas such while banners and ads. For the text just use usual html because it will be quicker to load all of which be better for search engines like google to list … Continue reading

Need some inspiration…
WHEN I looked around for those sites, like with www. guistuff. com which set it up some good tips… but I still think I want more. I’ve gotten well in to the graphics side of the design of the site, but after searching, I’m thinking maybe I want something different. Will there be a webpage this basically has back links to very well-designed web sites, that can be used as inspiration I understand of the " how’s my site" forum below, but not each of them is the greatest websites. Many thanks I have obtained some links to sites that are fitted with a collection of sites based on categories. If going tohttp: //www. johnnunemaker. com/links/ I possess design resources at the bottom. I don’t find out if they will let you but I just like them. also you can check www. cssvault. com i’m a little in the same boat because you as well… i’m designing a niche site for a multisport center within the region. post started it… produced a design… appreciated it then, detest it now: cross-eyed: ever since they gave us content, it doesn’t apparently fit the authentic design Ahhhh trying to design the twinkie befor … Continue reading

Organizing Links?
How one can organize my links just how this site provides http: //www. kirupa. com/ I’m uncertain how this would likely work… especially considering the borders. Can someone support me figure this particular out I’d really regards. They’re only using tables as well as icons. Very fresh look. I that it. Start by causing the icons. That is certainly the hardest section.
How much to charge for a website?
My business is putting together a quote for your potential client and would like to have your insight. This will likely be a little site: Design of an Homepage with nav buttons, and client-supplied imagesand copy Call us today page One particular php Master Page Once php Detail Page established a very compact MySQL database together with one table Hyperlinks to three various other sites Site submission searching engines Consultations/Administration http: //www. webdesignforums. net/showthread. phps=& threadid=10739& highlight=charging http: //www. webdesignforums. net/showthread. phps=& threadid=10219& highlight=charging http: //www. webdesignforums. net/showthread. phps=& threadid=9835& highlight=charging Hopefully these threads shall be useful. I’d have said that determined by how simple the particular pages are, then you definately could charge around 150 with this, depending upon what type of skills you possess. If you take advantage of this as a tough estimate (written by another on this board): " Demand an hourly charge, say 10/h / $10/h, and see what number of hours it took you to definitely complete, see longing for you . it is worth more.. then give a quote" Remember that the person/society the page is made for may not have a very large budget…

databases and forms for magazine site
i have some basic web page design knowledge, but i dont learn how to design a site with input forms. the form(s) will never be viewable by customers, only the magazine’s editors. i want make use of a password-protected form page therefore the editors can easily cut and paste, the title, author, story, pictures in addition to cutlines, then hit send and it also creates a nice page for everyone to see. one form per section of your magazine. thus, everything are going to be uniform, all your font sizes as well as palcements, and the writers can’t screw up coursesmart. i must also then archive the particular old information and still have a good lookup function, but i am not familiar w/ sources. when i helped someone style and design a newpapers site that followed the following format, but post only handled the graphics. he used active server web page, is asp the best ways to do this if anyone knows of tutorials to get this done or if any has any themes… it would possibly be greatly appreciated.
Web Designer
Im in search of a web designer to generate a site intended for my radio trail station xfreq, http: //www. xfreq. com it appearance fine and i love the look with it but its just too modest, at first i liked it turned out smaller but at this point i dont, i want one more custom-made and its hard to perform it with that will little site, after all it would seem real tacky that will put a shoutbox or something similar to on the area of it, i also would like to make a thumb page with thumb games and movies and i cant fill a flash game in that , page its simply too small. Flash would be great but html is fine very, What are a few cheap designersCan possibly be just personal people or an organization. Current width is around 700 and i really could make a brand new one thats around 770-779 which can be compliant with 800*600 browsers and up Do you imagine flash games would easily fit into it.
