I had been yet again just trawling from the web looking at random website design stuff and I discovered something that made me understand!
They are called ‘301 Redirects’ and I have been informed through one site which i need one to ensure search engines don’t penalise ranking because the difference between these kind of two links;
- http: //www. synoptic-media. com
- http: //synoptic-media. com
Is this correct If so learn how to rectify this As it stands right now I have absolutey absolutely no content hosted exactly what so ever, at the very least none that I am aware of.

Basically the worry recommendations that search applications will split your ranking between that version with www and also the version without. As long as I know this can be indeed a reputable concern, and tips on how to hit it would be to make www become a 301 redirect into the non-www version, or perhaps vice versa. Quite simply, you pick your primary’ one of the two and make sure the other redirects that will it. The redirects in essence tell the search results that the web page, while different, has actually moved permanently’ on the other address, to ensure it will index them because the same.
