I could’nt get a forum specifically targeted for newbies so I thought this will be the best place to place.
The provider I work for have recently placed me responsible of the website that has been developed in Flash by the contractor. Already we call for changes and although I have some website practical knowledge, Flash is proving for being somewhat difficult. For example you page has an index of several staff members, and I will have to add a brand-new member. I have got opened the. fla file and clicked for the ‘cell’ on the particular timeline that displays the all the list staff. I tried to copy a final text but croping and editing it actually edited the actual source. I have examined the properties in this control and it is a button, but once i add another button into the scene it appearance completly different (more as being a button rather and then text) I’m guessing that this ‘button’ is actually text considering the characteristics of the button. I have clicked the particular edit symbols button for the right of your scene 1 bar but it lists both Name1_txt along with name_btn. I’m obtaining this confusing. Basically I would prefer to add another button to get a new meber connected with staff.
As I mentioned before I have a firm idea HTML and Concerning even developed websites in DreamWeaver however Flash really has me confused. Just about any advice is welcome.

Sounds to us like you need to read the Macromedia Adobe flash manual, and also it’s wise to checkout the tutorials (Help > Instructions > 00 Introduction – 08 Animation). Flash is totally different from html code, and as such you need to know the basics before looking to build or revise websites.
PS: updating other people’s flash can be a nightmare. There is nobody right way of doing things in thumb, and everyone has their unique styles & preferred types of doing things.
I employed to work at the multimedia design provider, and when I got asked to update one of many other designer’s pen files, It would take me a whole lot time that I can literally build the particular file from scratch inside same ammount of your respective!
I determine what you mean by simply that, i’ve felt identical way about other projects in past times. Anyway I spent a little time on the item yesterday and managed to attain what I attempt to do. My problem hasn’t been using the Selection to duplicate in addition to change objects/symbols. Once I acquired the Library becuase I was capable of work through it.
