Uploads
I will be trying to put an upload that will my site. I want people every single child upload images that will my site. There has to be anyone that will give me a hand with this. I have tested out different things however I still find errors. Please support me. Jason You will need to set up a upload script applying PHP or ASP or other server-side language. I suggest that you discover what languages your node supports and do research online for an upload script for this language (ASP necessitates installation or using a DLL). And then, if you have questions regarding the script, post them for the appropriate forum (ASP or perhaps PHP, etc).

making updates (and life) easier
Hi there everyone, My question pertains to making it less difficult to update this site. The website that I’ve got running is at www. 1000words. net – it shows a different photo and essay to the ‘front’ page each day. It involves me editing the primary page, the gallery page also , the page individual to that submission. I complete these changes manually. Hence, the updating method is quite primative and I want to get a more easier or automated solution to do it. Compared, for instance, there is the Mirror Project on www. mirrorproject. com – the technique used to navigate is akin to what I’m seeking since it shows a picture plus corresponding text for you to each ‘page. Would someone be able to tell me what tools are used Particularly for checking (re: http: //www. mirrorproject. com/mirror/recent/id=17879), it works really simply and it would be nifty to have a very search function. Would anybody be able to get me started on the search Was this great site created using an individual software or code which i am able to have or learn from the web or was this something developed by a programmer I could have done … Continue reading
What is .htaccess?
Fine, so I know it’s accustomed to keep directories secure, but I have no idea much else about it. Can someone plz give me (and one other non-informed) a simple rundown of it It basically shows apache commands to jog on particular websites or files. You can use things like modify server settings, re-write urls, as well as protect files. It’s kind of like a minature httpd. conf for a directory. Dont’ learn much about httpd. conf sometimes, apart from that it’s really a configuration file for some type of security. Have anyone seen any lessons on. htaccess have a shot at http: //www. easyphp. org/faq. php3#15 This is a start, thanks! FIFTEEN – v1. 5 How does someone protec the phpMyAdmin accessibility from visitors Increase a. htaccess file from the phpmyadmin directory getting: Purchase deny, allow allow from 127. 0. 0. 1 not think from all.

I’m trying to decide which language is best for server-side digesting. My prefernce is actually toward PHP, although in fairness, I have not used a large number of. Listed below are the contenders: PHP CGI — C / C++ CGI — Perl CGI — Other JSP ASP — Visual Basic ASP — Perl Script ASP — Other Langauge Cool Fusion Sorry If i have left away any, there very hard maintain with. Feel free that include any write throughout votes. This will depend on the application. Every language has its ups and downs. My favorites are PHP and JSP. WHEN I haven’t tried ASP as well as ColdFusion yet. ASP with luck. I can’t get enough of that VB! My business is trying to study JSP now. It looks very difficult but I believe that it is worth learning because I do believe all Java based languages need to be rougly the similar, and anymore you will get away from finding out Java. Plus I listened to JSP kills the others where speed goes (except with regard to ColdFuson, which uses identical concept as JSP) Under no circumstances been a supporter of VB. Seemed like what you’d probably get if … Continue reading

Public Policy or TOS or both?
Which will be appropriate for a company website THE, (Terms of Service), and also And which do you know of on YOUR internet site I think this will depend on the nature of the business, and what you’re looking to say with this document. However, the TOS sounds extra professional than " Arrest Policy". What information thinking of delivering that you want to describe Terms of Service applies to services that readers use (such since forums or alternative tools). Privacy Policy applies to information that visitors submit for your requirements (such as speak to info or such). Copyright Notice is usually an explanation of which elements in the site are copyrighted by your business. Public Policy just isn’t really a common legal term.
