Definitely guys,
We have just had a pal of mine name me saying he has bought himself a domain name and has picked up hosting and includes started sending email messages from his new domain name and he provides asked me to style an " within construction" page. I understand hhow unprofessional these false claims look and hasve talked about the pro’s of a real page.
He made the valid point although that people will see his new domain name and probably check to see if he has anything up on his site nonetheless…. so the concern I pose back is this…..
It is possible to alternative to keeping an under construction page up on the domain of course , if he demands one what don’t you think would constitute a good one
I know that is the very rehashed dilemma and topic but I just now thought i would certainly see what the contemporary trend is obtainable regarding this at this time.
Hope you’re all well,
dave
The worst thing you might have is a next to nothing. Only marginally improved but still utterly terrible is definitely under construction site.
If you want a place holder I believe you have THREE OR MORE options.
An awesome graphic
A top quality logo with a coming soon sticker/stamp
Or maybe This. http: //snook. ca/
The final example, in my own eyes, is great. It is and so simple and elegant yet the message is crystal clear. I love this.
Give them an excuse to bookmark the particular page and return down the road.
I reckon that in general, it really is bad form to own links on your internet site that go to pages which might be under construction. In case your whole site is definitely under construction using a holding page saying so is flawlessly acceptable… certainly greater than having nothing in the least.
The bad vibe is due to having links for you to under construction web pages. That is the location where the web community affirms just don’t position the link there in the least.
I consider this completely, either you are launching your site too soon or you might be being too ambitious with the pages which you would want to have at release. Far better to exclude incomplete pages or supply a simpler version in the page than have an ‘under construction’ message.
