i’ve only applied oscommerce and was curious which is the quickest to setup and also style

oscommerce… I done this thing more often than not, all the approach back when it was called " that exchange project". I believe it still offers function names such as tep_query

if zencart is similar to oscommerce but w/ css then that could be more appropriate for me b/c i discovered w/ css only
and now for the joomla, i been attempting to learn joomla, is it pretty easy to catchon> and how hard is it to integrate the e-commerce for it i basically will need the search by means of manufacturer and product and compare capabilities that an e-commerce resolution provides not the actual payment option, but they will most likely decide to further more the project suitable complete e-commerce later down the road…
so should i go on and learn joomla and the way to integrate the buying cart w/ the item
I’m not gonna say it’s a day or even week job to master but once you receive the hang of it you’ll be able to implement joomla pieces like news, gallerys rss, and virtumart without an excess of hassle.
One thing that was a pitfall was getting it to work with the Payflow entrance – most just about all other gateways the idea supports.

i printed the many documents out on it and a few tutorials my spouse and i found.. got it binded.. ill read everthing first and then begin.. shouldn’t be to bad for the fact used to do oscommerce w/ extremely complelx specifications your customer requested

Oh yea one of the best I have noticed Drupal was one I used to be looking at previous to but joomla will be so robust – I do think you will love it in order to work directly on your own computer/ laptop loacaly I’d personally download Joomla have alone server it contains mysql – this way you can make your changes localy and no make more progress – as opposed to ftp preveiew – ftp preview.
My lead developer is a lot more of a wiz than I am – so if you get in a stump which you can’t get rid of with forums well then , i’ll know and I am going to see if he’s the time to take a look.
