I’ve got the following far and dont think my site layout is appropriate – i are offering design services plus hosting – but im not sure where to position the menu – on 800×600 the menu is there are various bottom of the actual page – your obvious place to place it is above – nevertheless it doesnt seem to your workplace there either — has anyone bought any suggestions about how to lay as well as out in a fully different way without using different images, and so on.

Why don’t you consider having the key image bit bust with white gap when " mouseover" the particular menu.
Therefore the menu item display inside the main image.

When mouseover the nav-menu, the menu popup overlap the main image. And the region where it overlap will calm down bit of colour on the main image.
