just need a little crit on the final layout before we build more of the site.

what does one like… and what does one not

just about any opinions welcome

I’m keen it. It would not make me state " WOW! " but I do as if it.

Nice, sparkling simple layout….. good us going for color.
The sole thing that mixed up me was that Recent Projects I thought it turned out still loading (since this reveals to bottom out).

Appearance good though. Only thing I will say is the actual Recent Projects (the " s" in projects) can be behind the border of the flash, so it looks slightly off…… bring this forward should fix that.

None of the page are connected, so can’t declare anything there.

So good, looks good…..

sorry, only spent a few hrs on the site last night (design and dev) so it was only that page i obtained semi done.

in terms of the ‘recent’ subject overlapping, i presume you looking at in something rather than FF once again i became rushing to obtain a bit of crit, wasn’t sure i became going down the proper route.

do more tonight and post a greater version later.

ta significantly guys

Avoid, I am within IE7 (yes, WHEN I admitted it)…….. although in my safety, this is any work computer.

Fine clean code POST notice – very little errors or alerts.

I think it has lots of potential, like how you get different colours for the rollovers, nice font and so on. etc.

It is basic (at the particular moment) but sparkling and clear having nice layout and colour scheme. Receives thumbs up by me.

Brand-new considered using a new flash object induced by js overlaying your static image with the box rather over a js image changer program These js pic changing routines irritate me slightly compared to flash – these people make the sensitive mouse pointer go all glitchy while you move it about. Also would throw open possibilities for a more attractive fade in/out.

Are going to, flash brings around unique limitations (*me have got to defend fellow jQuery innerFade user*). Thought about think a lightweight script prefer that is better… WHEN I don’t jumpy cursors. Does one Besides, I think lose colour in/out softly is a lot better than other effects. It might retract focus from people trying to read the text or looking at the the food selection.

My cursor gets – but I’m using a classic slow machine, this can include it. This happens with every one of these js powered diminish in things I approach to this comp, the cursor becomes very jumpy as the js loops away within the background.

I see a person’s point entirely — although recently I discovered a script which i like that sites static content within a div for people without flash participant, and then if you are with flash person overlays a movie together with it. I love this, but I suppose it’s a matter of personal preference towards the end of the day. It’s triggered by means of js, so I presume with either method when you have js turned off you only get a static image.

Although I dislike flash being used too much I quite as if it used with the overlay script within this context. However I know that’s an completely new thread.

the code should never really be seen at the mo. thatnks with the comments but its more the theory stage.,

the jquery consequence was choosen over flash i’d personally prefer some expensive jquery in the port

more to explode soon guys. thanks with the comments

I’m keen the old nav better.

the old nav was somewhat too much imo, the modern one is a lot more accessbile and tidier (will be easier to provide thing later.

about to reduce the dimensions of things, achieved it a bit very chunky me believes.
