Is there a trick to blend a background tile seamlessly with a centered foreground?
This really is giving me a genuine problem. I’m fairly sure there isn’t a perfect solution but here’s the problem: Concerning a background image tiled, it’s around 250 x 250 pixels, and it really is of black in addition to blue clouds. The content with the page is displayed in the table, centered in addition to fixed width. The top end of this stand uses essentially the identical image as this background, though only around 120 pixels huge. My problem will be obvious line where the foreground tiled impression overlaps the background tile. Resizing the web site means this tier falls in different places as well as being posing a problem. Beware of any neat steps to solving the following one Thanks! Make that background the background of some bottle that holds that table and make the table tissues transparent (don’t identify a background).
Background Image and Screen Resolutions
Hi there guys, Now one I’ve truly talked to until now has been capable of answer this for me but hopefully another person here can. i’m using macromedia dreamworks to produce a new site we plan to always be one picture created in macromedia fireworks. My problem is the fact as a background image it doesn’t resize when your screen resolution modifications, as well while i use it in the same way a picture on the web page even while its large enough to fit the whole page there’s still a white line throughout the image. So I had been wondering if everyone here knows the right way to use a single image as their entire web site Thanks in your help, Stargate005 PS: Do not post to say you discourge me from achieving this unless you recognize it cant often be done… I’ve already created the website which took myself a loooong time lol as well as prospect of redoing it doesn’t make me far too happy lol. This is all I could consider: http: //evoluted. net/archives/2004/05/graphical_image. php Perspective the demonstration link. Rather than resizing using this mouse, you could possibly be able to edit the script to resize … Continue reading

Colour scheme for new site
I’m back building a new site, and get the layout planned and created. Nevertheless, my main problem (and the thing I’m not way too good with) will be the colour scheme. You can view how far I have got here, without the need of content or anything: http: //chrisbrewster. co. uk/mm MY PARTNER AND I particularly want the actual purple in generally there, but I’m unsure the gradients job, or if your dark background causes it to become look tacky. I’m trying your fixed width and also centred layout this occassion round. You could possibly notice the left border being a bit thicker inside Firefox too. For whatever reason, the vertical line around the background image didn’t appear in IE7 (must be obscured through the other divs), nevertheless worked fine along with FF. So I put in a left border for peace of mind. Almost any ideas peeps Thanks. hey guy, same with my family. not very beneficial choosin colors but i nfind that site help guides me within the right direction. likewise got this JUST ONE from karrine (cheers btw) desire it helps Thanks, I’ll look in those. I’ve scrapped that will design though, it looked a lttle bit … Continue reading

Problem with layers in Dreamweaver
Hello there everyone, I’m new towards forums and hope you may help me (sorry if here is the wrong place to post this). I will be creating a website for the friend, and am aquiring a small problem with the layers. Basically, the page consists of a layer which has a background image in the container, and several nested layers place top most. At the minute, I cannot receive the layers to center in the web browser (it simply stays wherever POST move it within dreamweaver, in this kind of case top left). Any ideas or advice could well be greatly appreciated! Thanks, TORN well… for starters, your link would guide I’m presuming that while using layers and dreamweaver you possess an absolute placement, which inevitably (i learned the hard manner… ) are not gonna be in line in most web browsers, your best bet is to help switch to < div> tags along with use ‘floats. ‘ its not as easy as implementing dreamweaver design watch, but its really not all that tricky! Thankyou for that replies! I got there guarantees, using < div> tags for instance solidgold suggested. Thanks for ones help RIPPED Glad allow me to be … Continue reading

absolute or relative positioning?
hi. Im really confused relating to this. I have started building a website in dreamweaver using a table. I have centered the dining room table. The challenge starts when i attempt to using layers. I need to layer quite a few text over the image. If i use absolute positioning the text will forever remain at some sort of fixed point next time i resize the browser (which is pointless). When i employ relative positioning layer will never lie together with the image. It is very frustrating. can someone offer a sugguestion please gives thanks. Make the image a background image of the table, or dump the actual table and learn how to use divs. Putting text together with an image described in HTML is never the way to do it. Including Eddy said, the best ways to put word over an graphic is you fill out an application that image as a background. I strongly propose you dump the table in addition and go CSS up! Check the sticky within the HTML/CSS forum or in my sig to the WHY’s and HOW’s Male, cyberspace claimed this post, but MY SPOUSE AND I said what karinne reported, and even provided … Continue reading
