trouble with i-frame looking for alternatives

firstly i really appreciate this url, and hello (as that is my first post)heres slightly background on the particular software i use first and that means you have as much info as it can be. i do the major part of my design within photoshop, slice this in imageready, plus do any coding around dreamweaver mx. i actually have a pair of questions, and a few illustrations: while in the attachments layout1. jpg shows the way i sliced the idea in imageready, white lines to represent the slices, along with the blue box is where i need the i-frame (or some thing else if available)to often be layout2. jpg shows what it appears when i preview it in IE Firefox through dreamweaver, everythings the same, but the brilliant green area will be the space referenced under consideration #1. #1. i have carried out countless sites along with an iframe that loads most of the content, but this great site im working upon now is giveing me the worst frustration ever. no matter just what i do theres space between the main page as well as the i-frame, i have done all i could on the i-frame: made the i-frame larger … Continue reading

background / spice it up!

i’m working away at reworking my stock portfolio website. this is what i have so far: www. adamschoonover. com/temp/ I need to add some sort of gradiant background, or something to attract the eye towards the pictures. Anyone have any ideas how to take this way up a notch gives thanks! How about centering the complete thing and maybe a slight border about the container For you to center, mess considering the body style: perimeter: 0px auto; bigger: 100%; cushioning: 0px 0px 0px 0px; text-align: core; I would say no on the border, it would cause it to look smaller than it already will be. Centreing the layout can be good though. You are able to shorten the underlay bit to minicodepadding: 0; /minicode; it will the same issue.

Beginner, looking for a little help

Greetings everyone.. I’m somewhat new to web site design. I have a fantastic background with HTML PAGE, and understand CSS (though I simply started using CSS some weeks ago). I just can’t seem to access the next stage. I’m looking for any kind of help. Tips or possibly even good web sites with good series. Thanks for your entire help! Have you looked at w3schools. com To access the next grade, the best advice I can give you is to just make websites. Come up with random ideas. THE photography website, an internet site . for your pastimes, a website for your particular hobby, the blog. Whatever. Just simply make websites. Have a shot at new things. Shop around at what others have done and make an effort to reproduce it. In addition, keep an observation on alistapart. com along with other blogs/sites like this. Create an internet site of your private. It could be anything that you’re interested in, like a hobby. Look for a cheap webhost where you are able to " play around" with your site, CSS, XHTML, PHP scripting. Similar to: http: //www. cleverdot. com Any particular one is only about $35 per year! ============== You … Continue reading

How to add a background to a flash template…?

MY SPOUSE AND I found this cost-free flash template and would want to lay it over my background… Is there anyway to do this without a adobe flash editor I only want to upload the web theme to my host and add the background there… Is this possible Thank you. And, for a secondary question, does anyone determine what program(s) I need to make flash websites such as one I associated with I’ve noticed that there are numerous flash websites (like normally the one I linked to) of which just load pretty smoothly with little or no wait or challenges, like they are form of a " slimmed downed" version of flash that may be very fast loading when compared with other flash sites I’ve seen and I’d like to know how these are made… Thanks.

Is there a way to make this design into a fluid layout?

http: //twitpic. com/mgf5m There’s an online design I’m implementing, it’s just this bare bones currently. At the instant, the width belonging to the content area is over 1000px (I know it’s actually a bit too big) and rather than scale it down too much, I’d prefer to produce a fluid system (e. g. thickness: 80%; ), but I’m simply just wondering if there’s any way of doing that Currently, it’s a horizontal image that is certainly repeated vertically, having a seperate image for the top and bottom from the white section. Bless you. Oh, and hi. Now i am new here You have to have a fluid column on your own design. For example your content you intend to be fluid. You have to add from css to get background 3 photos: left and suitable fixed, and the fluid image. You have to set for div subject material width in percent and then for right column (for example) resolve width – around pixels. Thats some sort of basic explanation. You have to work if you prefer a fluid layout – isnt exist a softare which transform automatically a permanent layout to h2o. It’s much less difficult to deal w/ the … Continue reading

RGBA not valid?

This particular is the error My business is getting when I attempt to validate this signal: Code: #navigation SPAN: hover background: RGBA(255, 255, 255, 0. 5); Is usually my code drastically wrong, or is this particular a validator insect I’ve always seen it using a lower case " rgba", but I’m confused if that would really make a difference. Which browser will you be getting that mistake in This will depend on the cell phone, as usual. Maybe this page (css tricks) will provide an answer for yourself.
