Help for first time designer
This can be a first time i always have ever designed an online site and really concept of what to carry out. http: //www. stumbleupon. com/photos/39975316N07/3726143960/ the above link is surely an image that my partner and i designed in photoshop. this is what i want my home page to check like, with that four different thoughts being links within just my site. i’ve dreamweaver and my host is justhost. com. i would definitely appreciate a step-by-step process to make it happen, but any aid is much appreciated Most among us code web sites personally using a copy editor, but you may use Dreamweaver… it’s just that you not be able to understand the things we state without knowing WEB CODING and CSS and easy methods to upload files making use of FTP. Dreamweaver crucial probably using it, is a WYSIWYG interface, so you cut and paste layouts and things in it, and it produces the code for you. Again, nothing really incorrect with that, but learning for making a web web site on this online community (using Dreamweaver), isn’t likely to be easy. iPhone compatibility – image slice site
I made an easy RSVP site for just a client, intended to be used as a web-based RSVP to a new Bat Mitzvah. Samara is usually Awesome As well as is basically an image which i sliced in illustrator. It appears to get OK in Safari/IE/Firefox. Nevertheless, if any of you will have an iPhone you will see that the picture breaks apart. Concerning no experience having optimizing for cellular. Any advice could well be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Phil Works fine on the iPhone – 3GS along with iOS 4. modify > scratch that, some scrolling around the iphone broke it. Even on some sort of desktop browser there is an odd layer overlap effect on the right side It doesn’t seem to help much with any kind of scalable or substance layout. To see spinning program so well, slowly start minimizing the width with the browser window, and at a certain point the suitable side breaks and it also looks like you will discover 2 layers while using same crayons/calendar video. Is there any duplicate layer having a higher z-index You could potentially really simplify stuff by just setting up a large image of the board as the particular … Continue reading

Does Size Really Matter?
Good day, We are a newbie to web design. I made our page 1696 times 1438. You guys noticed it and said I were required to take it lower a notch. Now its 1280 x 800 that is popular I listen to. I just got done redesigning the idea in photoshop. While i preview it them doesnt fill your page. So What will i do to complete the page Should i make it 1920 wide and center the middle How do i make it so if the user opens the actual page big it will eventually stretch, but if the page is tiny the center will probably be what the user sees compared to the topo left from the page BTW A person guys really aided me last time frame thanks! 1280 x 800 is a popular monitor file size. Best size for most websites is 960 huge. Centering the web page is popular (look from this site for example of how to do that). PS – LOL the title of this thread. I wasn’t guaranteed whether I’d look for a spammer’s post inside or a respectable question. LOL. One easy way is as Moseley claimed, design 960px large and … Continue reading
