Whats the most effective way to make a site With a system or plain HTML CODE in notepad Thanks for just about any replys. We would say – out of previous comments about my web constructing in Frontpage, to use a wide selection of Dreamweaver, and Hand Coding i Notepad as well as other HTML Publishers: i go with code & dreamweaver. calculates pretty well. basically want something predetermined, and i cant find it being a feature in dreamweaver, i check out code, but if its some code and dreamwevaer undoubtedly has the characteristic, obviously, i use dreamweaver. But my spouse and i use dreamweaver in the event that its just simpler to click the actual button then keying in the code Personally i think so famous, getting my quote posted in a very new thread. I hardcode all my stuff. Although dreamweaver provides some nice extras including the site map software. You can in addition implement CSS with no trouble unlike frontpage. Consequently I say apply both, but keep hardcode most of … Continue reading

site nav, sub menu — help!?!

Hello! Now i am using ImageReady, implementing my layout, mastering as i choose. I’ve never employed slicing before, plus i’m having difficulties. We’ve a basic nav menus, with buttons, plus rollovers. I’m attempting to make it so that when the user clicks on the button a submenu unwraps up. I’ve made use of slices and onclick rollovers, along with the submenu does appear when the particular button is clicked… Then again, when the sensitive mouse is moved them dissappears! I tried giving out the slices to incorporate the areas the submenus are in, but some with the submenus overlap (some get more links as compared to others) so ImageReady wouldn’t quite well then , i’ll do that. Similar to i said, i have never started any page in ImageReady prior to, I usually work in DreamWeaver… And i can’t seem to search for the solution i need in the help files. Does anyone have any experience by using ImageReady or Navigation Menus similar to this I would appriciate just about any help! Thanks! .

Layout idea

Hey to all! I’ve a problem. I am trying to make a design and I wish to accomplish my page in 1 of 2 ways. Now, the following page: http: //www. jaggededge. net has buttons at the top that directs a visitor to be able to its textbox. How would I accomplish that Would I need to make buttons on my layout and then use a code If you are, what is the code My business is trying to stand out. Or if it doesn’t work, here is another page We are looking at: http: //members. blackplanet. com/Arwai. She’s mini link packing containers that links everything. Is that identical concept Thanks! Cynthia The initial link uses eyeglasses, the second you gave does not work. Regardless, the best method to attempt to duplicate something is to look at the HTML way to obtain the page you are viewing. Having Internet Explorer, simply click " View", then mouse down to " Source". Having Netscape it’s some thing similar. This is a best learning tool you could have. Copy and paste parts of HTML code that you need to study and research. This " Jagged Edge" internet site uses frames, not the best … Continue reading

Selling Links on website

I have been previously toying with the idea of selling text hyperlinks on my web site. The idea usually someone pays one to link to their website for any set period (usually some sort of month). I’ve found quite a few websites where We can " auction" the links, so marketing the spaces shouldn’t be too much of the problem. Even so, I want to determine what the thoughts about this are in basic. On some sites, there are doomsday-type safety measures that Google can block () the actual pages’ PR status. Any comments about this is appreciated — specially since I never have seen anything about it on WDF. Kind regards! The whole concept of " selling" buttons is nothing brand new. It’s the just like any banner advertising or Google AdSense url or anything of this nature. I’m unclear what warnings you will be " seeing", but as your spider-based search engine it could be somewhat difficult for Google to penalize a web site for selling reported links unless it was done in a " link-farm-style" scenario where sites put up for sale their links at a links page and go following that. Mind you, the whole concept … Continue reading

buttons

i am making some control keys in fireworks we have a black one and also a red to present on off point out. What is the very best format to export these regarding be used throughout swish max. Keeping in your mind that i want a transparent background many thanks I’m not acquainted with swish max, but I know if you want transparent graphics, you’ll need a. gif or maybe. png. You simply must export as a gif due to the fact most browsers tend not to support. png The only other option you’d probably have is for you to export as. jpg as that may allow your image to remain a little crisper. If the using DreamWeaver Mx to generate a page head over to insert menu : interactive navigation- navigation bar then you simplly have in order to export the few images you need and load these in its a breeze to do and self explanitory. Because web_designers said, you should use a gif if you are building in html code. I mentioned png due to the fact png has more information than a gif and work extremely well in Flash. Undecided if swish potential can handle png, … Continue reading

Site in progress…

This url is not reside yet but here i will discuss a screen shot. Just about any pointers/comments… These can be my suggestions: – Use something rather than:: for you navigation list style. Produce nice custom impression or something. ASCII stuff just looks novice. Same goes for that separators on the end navigation. — Ditch the validation buttons. If you believe on linking generally there, use text links. Simply put, noone cares. If a client is coming to consider automotive stuff they’re not interested in online standards, nor do they probably really know what it’s all about to start with. – Put some padding into the Recent News package. Rather than that I consider it looks very decent. Cheers for your response, I understand the:: ASCII looks somewhat ghey… they were form of just placeholders untill I could truthfully get something else trend right. I became also thinking regarding ditching the major validation buttons in the process but I do still prefer to make it known i always create valid pages so I do think I’ll inclue either text only or even those slimline kinds. Hadn’t though of padding the modern news bit but now i’m sure about it that … Continue reading

This can be a project i am focusing on, just wanted to get some feedback.. its not done instead of on center…. just searching for feedback, and also wondering if anyone sees an issue coding this… i am hoping to use dreamweaver….. i kind have a great deal of questions but first ill let you see where my business is at…. this can be a flattened image… the origial has MOST OF layers intact.. thank you in advance mike I can’t stand it, i think your content will be too low down for the page for individuals using 1024/768 file sizes. It just feels more for a poster than an internet site. Also you never have left space to get navigation. How will people be avoiding your site my spouse and i appreciate your complaint, as for navigation this is actually the " website" its really only one page with a few thumbnails that start and three buttons…. ill have to incorperate your house link but i think it’ll be hard to have lost with these … Continue reading

1st Site and I need some advise…

Hi all, Well I have finally started my first page using photoshop for that layout. I was wondering how I can turn the text I’ve into a hyperlink Or only am doing that wrong can another person tell me the way to do it. My business is not asking for this to be evaluated on how very good (or rather how bad) it can be, just some strategies. This is just a personal page for family to see pictures and for me to tinker by using. You can perspective it at: www. theneumanplace. com Thanks Bob Well… This are going to be an adventure for you personally. It’s good to begin somewhere, but here’s where you will go… 1) Your site will never be one big photograph, but a bunch of smaller images. Cut into sections making use of CSS (Cascade Fashion Sheets)… which may be a tool for HTML (CSS must be used for layout and also positioning). 2) You will learn HTML, CSS and get tutorials and examples on the internet. 3) For you to answer your issue, your buttons are going to be one blank graphic with no word on them. Then you definitely use CSS in … Continue reading
