small thumbnails to larger images on the same page??
I’m currently doing (yet another) portfolio web site. My main framework is fairly common— some sort of series (maybe 10-16) involving tiny thumbnails with images is around the left. You rollover one of several small jpgs and also a larger version of seems like on the exact page off on the right. I’ve been trying to figure out how the heck to get this done the most efficient way. I could easily take action in Flash, but am curious about if there’s exactly how since these images are fairly substantial for jpgs. I don’t want to use frames and my CSS is just not great. (I’m fairly beneficial with Dreamweaver and should not code if possible– perhaps there is a behavior (other than the hide/show layers) of which I’m missing in which exists in Dreamweaver MX in this sort of thing) Any one have any tips or can point me with a dummy tutorials Sorry if this is the very stupid concern. : nervous: You shouldn’t use < frames>, but have you thought to use < iframes> Inline Frames Inline Frames are intended for exactly what you’re attempting to do. See this page: http: //www. collaborationgallery. com It is really … Continue reading →

Gaming Website
Hi, im making a gaming website and My business is viewing alot of these to get a notion of what for making, and im seeing that the web designers are using tables to format everything. Should I do Identical thing No you should employ divs instead It really varies according to what gaming sites you are seeing. Yes, there are tons of tables on the market, but those are often outdated designs. Divs are the way to go, but it also varies according to your skill degree and what you’re feeling comfortable with……… i believe, I don’t work with tables……. but you will need to go with what you’re feeling most comfortable together with. Enjoy…… I would reckon that tables would be easier for me because im rather than familiar with divs. Tables i’ve been using for an extended time. Ok, I don’t necessarily mean to stress listen to but I wish people would tell use semantic html as opposed to divs. It gives many new people in order to CSS the impression that you choose and throw divs everywhere regardless of what the element. \rant, Sorry becoming a purist I’d personally disagree here. Tables are older so wether or … Continue reading →

Are these claims possble One half-hearted way of doing it (a way Relating to tried in this past) would try to be have loads connected with identical pages, with all the " next" plus " previous" as easy links to find the way between them, but I would like to avoid this, and just have the image in the top end cell change rather than the whole page reloading when. If you do, could someone explain to my opinion how this is done, or direct me towards the relevant information. I’m not too hot on the terminology for such a design, and so have found it a little difficult to homework. Can easily anyone help Here i will … Continue reading →
