one table row doesn’t show up in IE or Opera
I’m designing a site, and everything seems to figureout fine with te exception of a very important factor – I’ve bought a table of which works in Firefox, Netscape, plus Mozilla, but one line disappears in IE and Opera – the actual row with JPGs in the container. Everything else stays identical. I’ve posted the code for this below if any one has any ideas. Some of seems somewhat clumsy and hacked in my opinion, but I just simply did what I really could to get it to seem the way I need to. This is my first attempt at a website, consequently please pardon any kind of inelegant coding, and so forth, and feel free of charge to suggest far better alternatives. Additionally, one other issue. The W3C validator states I can’t use leftmargin, topmargin, etc as found below – is really a challenge, or can WE ignore it < shape bgcolor=" #bcbc85" leftmargin=" 0" topmargin=" 0" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" > bless you, Andrew Code: < table border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" width=" 100%" > < tr> < td colspan=" 7" > < img src=" beige-bar-2×2. gif" width=" 100%" height=" 15" border=" 0" > < /td> < … Continue reading

User Uploading
I intend to make available to people the capability that will send me big files – so I’d like to see them kid upload to my personal website. How do i do this Exactly how large are most of us talking, and what type of file It’s always best to have some set criteria for the size/file types. I posted a music uploader, on one more forum, http: //codeless. org/showthread. phpt=22& highlight=upload Then again, there are a lot of tutorials covering this specific. For just a straight forward: http: //uk. php. net/features. file-upload SOME SORT OF slightly fancier value: http: //www. tizag. com/phpT/fileupload. php Or even, if you would prefer to create a record upload class, http: //www. phpfreaks. com/tutorials/85/0. php Hope these helps. Post back in case your stuck/output an error, a lot connected with PHP’ers here. That is for a publishing service, so people is upload their flyers, article cards, business greeting cards, etc. from various sizes as much as 20 MB (generally). Your file formats include jpgs, png, tiffs, coming from photoshop, illustrator, writer, etc. I’ll have a look at the links, and when I have just about any questions, I could possibly get back with everyone. … Continue reading

Nested Divs
I’m currently working on a webpage for my you job information. On the reception page I’m creating a problem with the < div> using boarders strectching to be able to surround several < div> s inside. The only problem with this is when I float your nested divs to get the images covered up the national boundaries ignores them http: //www. phoenixbehavioralhealth. com/phones. html code. Is there ways to have the border automatically adjust on the size of the particular elements inside although they are floating Please ignore all the broken links to images Patient asking a coworker of mine to have me some images but to no avail adjusted yet. Any help with this issue would often be appreciated! I’m considering it with FireFox and IE. Which often browser does the item appear correctly in IE has your name above the photos as well as the border appears to go around both brand and photo. Whenever you get photos around there, things may possibly look different having FireFox. Placed some blank. jpgs in there for now. Well even in IE in the event the page width is adjusted to become smaller the previous picture floats outside the border. I … Continue reading

Resizing in photoshop.
Is it possible to resize a large number of jpegs to any lower resolution simultaneously using photoshop Or will there be maybe at least a little more streamlined tool for doing it without doing it manually, one-at-a-time in photoshop Bless you Yes, you should utilize actions. To create a good action for resizing numerous JPGs, do this specific: 1. In Photoshop, open up 1 JPG. 2. Go to Windows -> Actions. A FEW. Press the button that appears to be a little piece of paper at the end of the behavior window – that is the " New Action" mouse. FIVE. Name your Motion, and press Report. FIVE. Now, everything you decide to do is being documented. So do many of the stuff you require to apply to many people files. Like, check out Image -> Image Size and enter the latest DPI, dimensions, and so forth. SOME. When you’re executed doing everything, press the square about the Actions window : that’s the Prevent button. SIX. Now, you’ve developed your Action, and you have to play it on a lot of files… So check out File -> Automate -> Order… 8. Select the action you just created in the actual … Continue reading

May anyone guide me within the right direction to create a page much like this one: http: //www. valeriebeller. com/new/paint. htm Thanks beforehand. It seems like Javascript is used to populate the key image section. Does one say this is comming at a template Is flash being used possibly It looks like there may be a Flash movie while in the background somewhere, but it’s not necessarily embedded on the page. The Javascript is actually calling a function NextFrameFlashMovie(‘n’), where n may be the frame in the movie. It looks as if it might just as simply be calling static jpgs. In fact, the only. swf’s for the page look to be for a time/date funtion. I’m uncertain, though, because I have never seen this treatment and I are likely to avoid using Pen wherever possible. And also, I can declare definitively Flash is not required to re-create that. You’ve settled my personal nerves alittle- Thanks very much. (Have a deadline for your new site) What do you feel about copying the code and wanting to insert images along with customize the site from that point on Are these claims method common, ok to complete, or even advisable What would … Continue reading
