expanding navigation bar like apple.com

we’ve a navigation bar width=800. how do i make the dining room table fit 100% on the browser window i looked over thier source signal of apple. com and so they have a personal on each aspect that loops any background pic.. but after i did that it shifted each one of my slices.. ASSISTANCE PLEASE it’s probably something related to the width settings to the cells and/or the table in general. can you publish the source code for the table, or supplies a link to your page containing that problematic code thanks for you prompt response… however i actually simply just figured it available myself… In my opinion it’s because you have the total size to equal 400. Even though the resolution you desire your site for being optimized for might be 800×600, the web dimensions for the width are marginally different. I believe a new width of 780 (or was it 768) is what you should set it to get. Why the big difference The scrollbar about the right takes way up some space.

how to remove left cellspace

Can you really just remove the cellspace about the left of td but keep space on the right top in addition to bottom fundamental example < dining room table width=" 100%" height=" 351" border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 2" > < tr> < td> < dining room table width=" 100%" height=" 237" border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 2" > < tr> < td bgcolor=" #FF0000" > & nbsp; < /td> < td bgcolor=" #FFFF00" > & nbsp; < /td> < td bgcolor=" #0000FF" > & nbsp; < /td> < /tr> < /table> < /td> < /tr> < /table> Gives thanks Since you are not using a line, padding will do fine for you. Use CSS that will specify your extra padding as < major, right, botton, left> models. < dining room table cellspacing=" 0" cellpadding=" 2" border=" 0" style=" cushioning: 2px 2px 2px 0px; border-collapse: collapse" > or, as a less confusing approach to do it: ….. style=" padding-left: 2px padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; "…… or just ….. style=" padding-left: 2px; "….. actually your order is actually wrong. TRouBLed ….. style=" padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 2px; "…… http: //www. mezzoblue. com/css/cribsheet/ also…. sorry, i didn’t … Continue reading

Background colors & Table "shadows"

Hi there All, I was wondering in the event you could help myself – I’m in the way of designing this portfolio website, and to add some ‘feel’ to your website I want to provide " shadows" to my main table (like one this site has)… and/or a coloring gradient going from a light blue to your dark blue (like, starting light blue at the top of the particular page, then dark the way it nears the bottom) What sucks is I realize this is probibly gonna have a seriously simple answer : but dammit, I can’t do it! The one you have please You have several ways to perform it, but if you are site is fixed width (i. electronic. 700px), then the easiest way is to produce image 1x700px (height back button width), put it seeing that background and align it the same as your main dining room table is. Dont really get that procedure, xarst, but without doubt: You may just make a strong cell each way so itd appear to be: Code: _____________________________ —————————————– (the two within the left being each one shadow) WE don’t really receive what you imply by that first idea – can … Continue reading

I have layouts, just dont own color schemes… just about any sites http: //www. colorschemer. com/online. html Although I propose learning more about color generally speaking… color scheme generators can only present you with a formulated loook… can’t present you with that extra edge given at a custom scheme, let alone the different feelings invoked from several colors… (whens a final time you noticed a mcdonalds advertising in dull greys and blues ) Gives thanks man OMG!!! They stole the color table script (the color table over the bottom)!!! What must i do! absolute or relative positioning?

hi. Im really confused relating to this. I have started building a website in dreamweaver using a table. I have centered the dining room table. The challenge starts when i attempt to using layers. I need to layer quite a few text over the image. If i use absolute positioning the text will forever remain at some sort of fixed point next time i resize the browser (which is pointless). When i employ relative positioning layer will never lie together with the image. It is very frustrating. can someone offer a sugguestion please gives thanks. Make the image a background image of the table, or dump the actual table and learn how to use divs. Putting text together with an image described in HTML is never the way to do it. Including Eddy said, the best ways to put word over an graphic is you fill out an application that image as a background. I strongly propose you dump the table in addition and go CSS up! Check the sticky within the HTML/CSS forum or in my sig to the WHY’s and HOW’s Male, cyberspace claimed this post, but MY SPOUSE AND I said what karinne reported, and even provided … Continue reading

I am semi new to web development but I really tried to solve this one on my, here is the entire code. I don’t observe any closing SCRIPT tag in the first place – this’ll possibly be mucking things up a lttle bit. Decide to put " < /script> " prior to your title tags. Oh yeah you should close the opinion tag first too. As well, better nowadays that can put your tags inside lowercase. Made the tag continue to no luck, appearance fine in Firefox, but once i open it with IE the navbar doesn’t align right, it is really becoming a pain inside the I really don’t see any Doctype defined… Without this it … Continue reading
