I are not aware of if the right forum for this question, but the following goes: I’ll align a layer a lot of pixels from the superior and left with the browser window (and likewise align it in order to another layer), but how do i align a layer a lot of pixels from the superior and left of the table (in different words, if I center the table within the page, the layer moves for it in stead of staying in its orignal location) Hope this can be clear – thanks for your help! I guess you can add HTML: position: comparable; To the CSS for any layer, and then upload the layer rules inside those for your table, like and so: HTML: < table> < tr> < td> < div> content < /div> < /td> < /tr> < /table> Not examined, if this isn’t what you recommended please clarify. Dreamweaver Layers

Hi… Im developing a site for a pal and have going it in dreamweaver FIVE. I have established a central table to keep the content and considering using layers to support the menu bar as well as actual content Is this the best ways of doing it As well, when I develop the layers and also do an F12 along with view them within the browser the aren’t where I placed them Need to manually move them around but then they don’t appear correct within DW! As well, is it simply easier (and better) to utilize PHP with some sort of MySQL db I have no idea PHP at all so this can include a problem…: ermm: Just about any ideas folks!!! Cheers! Times have graduated a lot seeing that Dreamweaver 4 I know its old-school although its free! dreamweaver layers not working

yeah so just like the title thing said, my layers issue isnt working, whenever i make an effort to make a common box, it doesnt reside where i placed it, the only issue that happens can be a dotted rectangle appears within the corner of the page that may be always the very same size. any ideas on how to solve this thnaks If you look in this code view, it will list each one of the layers you made inside Style section on the Head of your page. You can set the cooridinates now there, or learn CSS and take action all yourself. Factors CSS tutorial internet site. i really dont think i have teh time or pacience to read all that, id rather just stick to dreamweaver. but i acquired what you said its just not working prefer that. see in dreamweaver im suppose to move the level around aand change the size and style easily, but its not happening prefer that, its just a rectangle for the top left corner on the page which post cant move or maybe edit or anything CSS isnt that difficult to master.
